The hotel is in need of a freshen up. Very noisy (location) and not a great sleep. Pros it has a great location, Staff were all excellent and breakfast was very good.

- Room temperature could not be adjusted thus far too hot to sleep in - Bathroom fan came on every time you walked past the door/into the bathroom but being a sensor switched off whilst in the shower. - NOISE outside was horrendous - Curtains did not close fully thus early morning light came in disturbing an already disturbed sleep

Inconsiderate neighbours

Woken at 1.15am when couple next door returned to their room shouting then came the loud dance music for the next hour. Dialled reception where phone was not answered. Eventually got hold of night porter who didn't speak very good English so had difficulty understanding what the problem was. Had to be up early the next morning and had requested a quiet room on the river side! Bed comfortable, shower not as powerful as when I have stayed previously. Breakfast not as good as previous stays, coffee machine wasn't working, jam now in large jars which were messy, individual portions would be better.
