The hotel looked old and tired from the outside. We checked in at 10pm due to a late flight. Staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was 504 and as mentioned before was next to the lifts which was noisy. Staff offered to move us. The room was hot and we were advised the air con did not go on until later in the year due to Milanese regulations. The windows opened widely for fresh air but had no safety features I could see. The room was ok but the showroom had a bidet and the towels were old, thin and greying. We did not eat at the hotel as we were out and about each day. There are nice local bakeries/ cafes for breakfast. The hotel is near the metro which is cheap and easy to use. Overall the experience was ok. You get what you pay for. It was reasonably priced.

Hotel was not a 4* standard. Lots of bedbugs occupied the beds, bathrooms were having fungus in the floor, towels were very old. Breakfast was not upto the standard. Hotel needs immediate renovation to keep up the standard. I have travelled different countries and stayed in many Accor hotel brands but this property is very old. I am a hospitality recruiter and we stay for recruitment in different countries for recruiting many hotel Managerial staff. For more details you can write to me on rw… But I must say Staff was very mannered and cooperative. If you give your official email address I can send you the evidence videos of our experience. At Novotel, we never had such "guests" in our premises, it has been something new to face with. As you would know yourself, it does happen in big structures where many people come and go, that some guests can carry the insects with them, however I am very sure that that presence did not rise from within our hotel. Therefore your feedback is very important to us. Please rest assured that following to your warning we have taken adequate measures to check the presence and did not find any. Still we are very sorry that soon after your check in you were asked to move room, and we are very thankful to you for your cooperation and understanding. The hotel is on the outskirts of Milan in a residential neighbourhood. Metro station is not too far away, you then need to take two different trains to get to the city centre. So location is pretty average. The nearest super-markets are a good walk away. The room was a good size but too hot in April, the air-con wasn't doing anything. I can only imagine what it's like in the summer. Wi-fi was very poor. Breakfast was nothing special, 15 Euros. The car parking underneath the hotel was something like out of a horror movie with lots of derelict vans parked there. Weird. Parking is not cheap either, 18 Euros per night. Overall, an average experience.
