We’ve driven by many times, stopped to take photos, never stayed. This time it was time cross it off our bucket list. We stayed two nights, room was small, bathroom extremely small, but quaint. Hotel is stunning, staff are helpful and delightful. Definitely caters to foreign tourists who have the dollar advantage. For locals it’s outrageously expensive, and we went during off season. Am I glad I went.. yes. Would I go again, sadly no. It’s just too expensive to enjoy our own historic area.

As frequent fairmont guests, and frequent Gold guests, we were very pleased with our stay and our service, The gold team was very helpful and our room was clean and quiet. Food in the lounge was really good and servers in Restaurants were as well, really liked our server Saturday night in alpine social (cannot recall her name, but worked the close shift sat apr 7)

Very unsatisfactory wheelchair accessible room. The staff supported us and made alternate arrangements after a 4 hour wait. Before booking I recommend asking these questions: How far is the room from the elevator? Is there an automatic button to open the heavy room door? What type of flooring is in the hallway and room? Does the room meet "barrier-free standards?" Good Luck

Absolutely glorious surroundings coupled with staff that is beyond compare ... in all seriousness, EVERY SINGLE employee we encountered was happy with huge smiles upon their faces ... We met one employee who has been with the hotel for 34 years after simply coming to visit Lake Louise and then never left ... kudos to Accor for their moves to ensure employees have local housing to make life easier given the long haul they would have to make if forced to commute ... Cannot wait to see what the new 'wellness center' and outdoor pool area will add to what is an already unbelievable place ... so bummed we missed it, BUT all the reason to come back ...
