Old, cold and smelly.

The hotel is perfectly located. However it needs a good refurbishment. The room was smelly and cold. Although the temperature setting would show a different number when adjusted, I never managed to get a warm room. It was so cold that I needed to us the blanket of the second bed in addition to mine to be able to sleep. The smell in the room is not great and I noticed you are aware of that problem as there are air fresheners plugged in the corridors. For the price of the room, there are better options around.

I requested a quiet room as I was running a workshop-My allocated room actually was quiet which meant uninterrupted sleep &I was fresh to teach. This does not always happen.

The meeting team was outstading. Pear, Emma and Belinda did one amazing job over the 2 days for BCA. By far the best team in all the Capital cities we have run the course. Our suite room was very disappointing furniture and fittings were stained and aged. Also we went green for 2 nights but were only granted 500 points instead of 1000. The staff and food in Windows was excellent. Overall a wonderful experience except for the poorly maintained accommodation faclities Cheryle B.

The accommodation provided by our Room was a Good Size with a Great View over Hyde Park. The Room had a Basic Coffee Machine with PODS but as rare users of these machines we were unimpressed by the PODS supplied in an Assorted Box which was Labelled but was very hard to read even in Bright Light which made it a challenge to make a choice of Coffee POD Strength or Flavour. We would have preferred to have a selection of Arnotts Biscuits rather than a Coffee Machine that simply pumped warmed water through a POD to pretend to be a Coffee. An old Nescafe 43 Instant would have been better.
