Easy Airport Access

It’s a tiny room but fine for Airport access via tram. We always stay here overnight before morning flights so we can sleep a bit longer without worrying about traffic (if family is driving us) or the (very rare) SBB/ICE Train delays. Don’t plan on “living” or “hanging out” much in the room. Breakfast buffet is terrific.

We loved the stay in the hotel. Very hospitable and friendly staff. Enjoyed yummy breakfast. Beautiful view in the fourth floor in a quiet area. Easily accessible from the airport. The concierge staff (carlos) supported us, in a good way around new place.

I found it easy getting from the airport to the hotel, in only two stops in the tram. To the city, I could either go back to the airport and take the S-Bahn to Zurich HB, or take the number 10 tram from the hotel to the same place but in a slightly longer time. The hotel is comfortable. It has the usual Ibis Budget room layout which is a bit basic, but is adequate, and I can easily cope with this rather than paying more for a better class of hotel. I would stay there again - in fact I was staying there again this time as I stayed at the hotel also last year. I find it a convenient place to stop over on a long railway journey. This time I arrived by train from Munich Hbf and left for Lyon Part-Dieu. Last year I flew in from Lisbon and left in a train for Ulm. So many useful connections, and a comfortable night's sleep in the Ibis Budget.
