Had to move rooms because of filthy bathroom. New room bigger but had raggy net curtains, staining around light above bed and a broken window above French doors. Bar not open on two nights we stayed so where are residents supposed to get a drink and relax? Messaged Accor twice but no response. Appalling.

On your website it clearly says there is a gym but this is not true there is no gym and we were all disappointed, I booked 2 rooms for 4 people. Also we were in room 104 and the duvet under the cover was very stained which begs the question how often are they washed? Maybe this should be put to your head office. The rooms pretty small but adequate, The bar was shut most of the time which was a shame as it would have been good to have a couple of drinks after Theatre show at 9pm. The location is good,as was the breakfast as 4 of our friends are vegan which were catered for well. The staff were pleasant too. But the bedding really needs sorting. Beverly H.

The room was small and almost adequate. Getting in through the door was difficult as you are wedged between the bed and the wardrobe. The bed was much too soft and gave no support. The bathroom was absurdly designed and small. The undersized wc pan was an extremely tight fit between the basin and the very hot towel rail. It was very hard to be hygienic. Neither of us could sit properly on the toilet. Really, the bathroom is a deal breaker.

Great location for London attractions

The hotel is by the British Museum and a short walk to London theatres. Russell Square, a little oasis of green, is across the road and there are many good restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby. The hotel is very comfortable with well appointed rooms and a warm welcome from staff.
