We stay at the Mercure Troyes fairly often - but were disappointed by our latest visit. It was unseasonably warm, and we were disappointed to find that the room aircon didn’t work (we ended up opening a window instead, which was still too hot), and that the room fridge - that I need for medication - wasn’t chilling either.

Hi We were in transit from Collouire in the far South East, relatively close to the border with Spain. Our journey from Calais in total was 1600 kms. We chose your hotel as it was a mid point on our journey home. The room was clean, modern and we slept well. However rhe bathroom sink dot not close so you could not retain hot water to wash or shave. Disappointment also that there were no charging posts for IPads surely almost a basic requirement in modern hotels. None either in the spacious lounge and sitting areas. Bad execution in my view.

Pros: Beautiful the standard room was quite large the bed was extremely comfortable everything was in good order, recently renovated Parking was safe Clean ok, could be better 10’ walk from centre Cons: Loud music in the courtyard, you will not sleep until late No amenities Not sure towels were ironed Staff looked a bit annoyed when I asked for slippers and fresh towels, I didn’t dare asking for a shower cap
