I have been in this Hotel several years ago. This time it was the same very good experience. This hotel has spacious rooms. This is not chain style room with bathroom only. Breakfast is very good, but be aware that might be crowded. There is large reasonable priced underground garage but entrance is from the street behind hotel. Overall I strongly recommend this hotel, not just to see Checkpoint Charlie but whole Berlin

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel, but the fast breakfast option for 13 euros per person was horrible, with a fruit, a boiled egg, and toast bread dry sandwich thrown in a paper bag, and coffee. Apart from that it was not ready at the time we had requested. We cancelled it for the second morning, and for 39 euros we had a much nicer and better quality product breakfast at caffee Einstein at Check Point Charlie.

A nice, functional hotel with large rooms, including separate bathroom and toilet. Easy walk to main sights in Berlin (Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, Reichstag, Unter Den Linden). Bar was nice with good drinks and food and friendly staff
