We were very underwhelmed with our overnight stay. We didn't really mind the small and cozy room as we were quite excited about having a bunk bed on top of our double bed (Family room for 3), but the layout was quite odd which gave the low rating. The toilet, shower room and wash basin were all in different rooms. Imagine (hygiene-wise) that after going to the loo, you would have to open the door, walk across the room to the wash basin. I am still reeling from this experience nearly a week from our stay. Also the bunk bed wasn't made, even though we booked for 2 adults and a child. The toilet and shower room feels like they belong to a caravan. Not quite a budget hotel. Staff were friendly, except we couldn't quite understand why the reception staff, after dealing with a customer, didn't acknowledge us, just walked off to the dining area. We waited like idiots until someone else walked out of a room behind the reception area and served us. Now that I have been there, I would avoid it in the future, especially if I were to travel alone or with a child, as one of the streets was filled with parked cars with rough sleepers (Rue du Commandant l'Herminier). Luckily we walked along that street when it was still daylight, but I would not feel safe at all later in the evening.

Good experience apart from poo blocking my sink and terribile reception staff

The hotel is in a good location close to the metro and with a bus that takes you directly to the airport with €2.15 nearby. However when I arrived I used the sink and realised that there was poo, yes real poo, blocking it and coming out of the overflow hole. Not a great ex Welcome! The receptionist was not apologetic at all and when I went down for the second time to bring the poo pieces and discuss the situation I was allocated a new room. Zero apologise...I must say this is the first time I experience such poor hygiene and zero customer service I should have got the first night for free at least with this horrible experience.

Good hotel for simple stay

Location is quite good, Metro is close to hotel. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast could use bit more options for example vegetable plate. Our room had 3 power outlets, one wasn't working. The sink was bit clogged so the water went down quite slowly.

Stayed here several times before due to the location. Some cost cutting in evidence- only one pillow and no soap in room. Breakfast was good but coffee machines less good. Overall happy and will return.
