In Wellington from Australia due to mother being hospitalised and transferred for emergency heart surgery from Hastings. Staff was friendly however one shift manager seemed annoyed upon check in and not very helpful while training a new receptionist. He was not informative with parking just letting us know there was no parking available for our stay but failed to mention we could enquire the follow days to see if any spots were available. All other reception staff were warm and friendly. The house keeping staff were lovely and our room was always spotless for us on our return from the hospital. Great spot in town handy to some great little eating spots.

Short notice booking owing to cancelled flight, no welcome gift in room but provided on request. Incredibly comfortable bed in large 9th floor room. Only thing that would have made it even better was a small sofa or comfy chair which would have easily fit in the room.
