The Sofitel is a favourite hotel when I stay in Melbourne, and this time I had 2 young grandsons with me, which was a very different, but delightful visit. The service is always excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the beds are so comfortable. I even managed to do 'casting' on the TV. The breakfast has such amazing variety, and having barista coffee is wonderful. My grandsons eyes nearly popped out of their heads when they saw all those danish Pastries!! I chose the Sofitel this time because it had a good rate for 2 nights, plus an extra Food and beverage inclusion , which meant we could indulge in Room service as well . Wonderful.

the experience was terrible from the start, i booked accommodation for my wife and 2 kids and upon arrival because it was under my name they were almost refused check in because I was not there. the staff was not very helpful or accommodating at all.
