The hotel is situated in a perfect location to explore Evora. It is homey and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful when asked what's the best way to see the history that Evora offers and the special places to eat. Definitely a good price for a comfortable stay.

Reception staff were polite & helpful. The step up, and more dangerously step down out of the shower was too high at approximately 25cms! Hotel is in a great position just five minutes from central Évora. Parking in the outside car park was free.

NOISY room, horrible...

We arrived just to sleep and the receptionist was not very attentive to his work. He was nice, however did not inform us about the noise in the room. It was room 213 and it is facing a street with stone pavement. The whole night there were cars passing. The morning after there was the same receptionist at the desk, so I informed him that it was a very bad night as it was noisy. He said it is due to the street in front but we could have had another room facing the back of the hotel if we had asked on arrival. I said I did not know the hotel at all, he should have said something or given us a quiet room. He did not even remember he was the one that checked us in. He did not asked for my NIF number (portuguese tax nr) so I got an email with no NIF... I believe he was not very focused those days...
