Goed hotel, maar we kregen bijna een kamer waar je over het bed moet klimmen om bij de andere kant te komen

By arrival we received a room where the bed for 2 persons block the way to the other side of the bed. The heavy luggage has to be carried over the bed! The passage between bed and the window was too small. Very very very strange! We just sit first to wonder why we received this weird room while there were nearly no tourists/guests staying there! This is not good and we have never experienced such with Ibis, never! We asked for another room. The man at the reception Ibis Metz Gare was a bit reluctant to give us another room, but he did… otherwise we will look for another hotel…. We are regular guests for years! Bij aankomst kregen we de sleutel van een kamer, waar de andere kant van het bed niet bereikt kan worden. De zware koffer moet over het bed getild worden en mijn partner moest over het bed klimmen om aan de andere kant te kunnen komen! Heel vreemd.

good price, the receptionist followed my instructions but the room 318 is not well isolated at all, we could hear the client of the neighbouring room talking what disturbs an intended quiet stay

Very close to Metz Gare and Centre Pompidou Metz. Easy access to old city centre by the free navette. Friendly staff. Usual good Ibis standard.

Well locate isthe only positive aspect of thism hotelm although th staff was helpful and attentive

Not very pleasant for the following reasons: Uninviting sorrounfings; uncomfortable furniture; shabby and extremelly dull interior decoration; absence of glasses in the bathroom -useful for dental hygiene- absence of a HAND RAIL for old people to support themselves after shower; no a single seat in the bathroom even if there is sapace for it in order to sit down to dry oneself; supply of ONLY big towells whearas in any hotel guests are given two towells: one for the bath and one for the face; asence of comfortable arm chair in the bedroom; no a paper basket in bedroom. Impossibility of having a hot drink out of breakfast hour and no oportunity of having a snack at any time even if one arrived late from train station or airport in the evening. Absence of fresh air place for relaxing and TOTAL absence of plants or flowers to refrsh the environment and for the guests to feel welcome. The area near the flift looks like a rubish damp: ridiculous posters announcing ''offerts'' that nobody will be interested as they are extremelly poor advertised. the situation of the hotel near the Pompidou centre an the train station is of great advantage BUT I will not recommend it for the reasons I've expressed.This is the second time I write my obeservations and it has not been possible to submit them, I suppose there is a fault in your webpage so I hope this will get to you and kindly you will take care of improving the conditions.
