We booked for a night stay and overall experience was ok. Friendly staff, location was good. Room was good enough for the price we’re paying. However the water heater in the bathroom took ages to heat up at night time but it was fine in the morning.

The Ibis is a pretty tired hotel. The great things about it are a comfy bed, great customer service, free parking and location close to the town centre. The view from my room was also wonderful.

I felt the rooms were rather shabby and the carpets were pretty awful , stained and apparently dirty . Everything in terms of fitments appeared to be at the end of its useful life. The room was surprisingly noisy because of the air conditioning unit and general soundproofing. I had the feeling that the entire building is probably due for a refit / refurbish. Some milk in the fridge would have been nice. That said I enjoyed my stay and your staff are excellent.

I felt the staff were very helpful and kind. The extrance seemed to lack an openness and seemed more of an extension to the Novotel. I was surprised by the state of the carpet in my room (356) and wondered why it as such an issue to remedy this? Other than that I was happy with my room and it had a lovely outlook.
