What can you say? I didn't book the room, but I showed my Accor diamond card on arrival, and the girl at the counter loaded my details. That is how you contacted me. What can I say about the room? Thank god it was for a night, a single bed that was as big as me and feet hung over the end. The room was simple, and it did the job, but the bed needed to be a king single or double, and I would have been happy. I didn't ask for special treatment, and I did get it. I understand that Ibis is a budget option, which I'm satisfied with, but I always get upgraded; no question it is right that Diamond Member holds. The next night, I stayed at Ibis Christchurch, and the same story showed my card, and straight away, the girl upgraded me to the best room she had, I was very grateful as I got a good night's sleep, also i asked for the bill to be sent to me by email and i still haven't got it yet, would you be able to send a copy of the bill to da… many thanks

Good value , staff good. Lovely Breakfast buffet. Easy to get to and from highway. Only comment , for me that there was no light meals available at night , because I needed dinner sat night before going out, but only wanted a quick meal , since I was on my own , not a full (costly) restaurant at Acaica . I didnt want to pay $69 for what may have been a nice buffet. So went for a walk,

On the first night ( check in ) I had the best experience. I booked last minute and checked in late. They were so friendly and found me a park even though the car park looked busy. On the second night there was no park available and I had to pay for a park across from the hotel. It felt dodgy as it was an empty carpark and the pay and display was in the middle of a tree lined area but very dark. I had to get out of my car walk across and then walk back and park. Check out was 11am and that morning cleaning knocked on my door, I didn’t answer because I was getting changed, but then they came in ! I said I was leaving but not yet and when I left the room to go down to breakfast they tried to come in again. On checkout my prepaid breakfasts weren’t on my account so had to show the person on the desk as I was going to be charged for them. Maybe some more systems are needed to ensure that if checking out you aren’t felt like your hurried until after 11am. Everyone in the first night though exceeded my expectations
