Disappointing Stay

We have stayed at the Ibis World Square many times over the years. We have previously enjoyed it bit the last two times, our stay has been very disappointing. We were in probably one of the smaller rooms - hardly room to move. The room was noisy from the lift and there was only one lift working! We could also hear the music from the pub (something that can't be controlled but has never before been an issue). Fortunately, we did not have luggage to deal with as there would have been no space. As ACCOR members, we've always had bottled water provided in the room. We used to get a bottle of wine or a "gift" of some sort. Staff were less friendly and less helpful. We didn't feel that being ACCOR members was of any help at all during this stay.

Great location....

Hotel is in a great location, but doesn't have much else going for it. As an accor plus member, I wasn't given any amenities, not even complimentary water. I stayed 2 nights & the same staff member was on reception. She had a cold personality. Morning staff were great. The lift was being renovated, so I was offered a drink voucher to compensate.

Well located - friendly staff

I understand a lift was being repaired so that interfered with the quality of the stay. The TV in my room (which was an upgrade I appreciated) only played the Accor introduction channel. There was no way to change channels and watch TV.

Stayed here before an international flight, I'm very happy i booked this hotel & would stay again, it had everything i needed to enjoy my stay. Great central location. Clean, quiet spacious comfortable room with the softest bedding. Handy luggage storage after checkout prior to my late flight. I appreciated the late checkout that was provided for my request. What stood out for me was the service from all the staff, very friendly, helpful & approachable throughout my stay, thank you!
