No Dutch speaking at front desk

During two days I was for business at your hotel. At the front desk "NOBODY" was able to speak Dutch. They could help me in English and were laughing because I found it strange that at Amsterdam I couldn't be helped in Dutch. Two years ago I experienced the same thing when at your hotel when an employee said he didn't speak Dutch because he came from Curacao. ?? Seems that Dutch at Amsterdam hotel isn't a priority.

This time I was really disappointed from Novotel. At the begging they made mistake in our reservation. We have made and paid our reservation with breakfast included, when we try to register for the breakfast they didn’t allow us to enter, I was forced to go to the reception end to solve the problem by myself , the employee at the task at the restaurant was very rude. When we asked for slippers they apologized “no slippers left” unfortunately. At the hole before hotel rooms there were dropped meals and for 24 hours no one from the staff took them, the hole was smelling disgusting.Really bad experience this time.

Ours was a wonderful stay. To break it in parts Location: Its not in the city center but not too far. it takes around 30 minutes by tram to reach central station. The tram station is a 2 minute walk. Metro takes shorter but the line was closed for maintenance during our stay. RAI train station is also a 2 min walk direct trains to SCHIPOL are to be taken from there so connectivity is no issue. CHECK in AND CHECK out: EASY and QUICK ROOMS: Spacious by European standards. All required amenities were there. a big thumbs up. BREAKFAST: We loved it. Superb. There was an automatic machine for umbrellas rental 2 Euro for 48 hours. Which were helpful in the Amsterdam weather. It was really a comfortable stay for us. highly recommended.

RAI와 가까워서 좋음, 청소 깔끔함. 침대가 편함 아쉬운점은 화장실에서 하수구 냄새가 올라옴. 같이간 동료들 방에서는 전혀 나지 않음 그러나 방바꾸기 귀찮아서 화장실 문닫고 지냄 조식에 파스타나 국수 등 면종류가 있었으면 좋겠다. 빵을 빼고는 탄수화물은 없다.
