Was here with some friends before heading out for evening meal lass on bar was more bothered about talking to friends than serving a guest breakfast was not nice heard some one moaning about cooking my poached eggs Room was OK bed comfy

Oh dear I wish I had read the reviews ! Absolutely not what you expect from mercure and no way that many stars, it’s more like a budget B&B however the rooms are not clean nor is the property the restaurant has 5 choices of ready meals that are no doubt microwaved. I don’t know what to say just avoid

Lovely hotel, the beds are unbelievably comfy. Staff on reception are really friendly and it's right in the middle of the town centre so everything is a short walk . The spaces in the car park are really tight but there's a secure multi story over the road with loads of spaces and it's only £5 for 24hrs

No way is this a Mercure hotel! My partner booked this for a surprise… it was definitely that !!!! Does the housekeeper do any actual housekeeping? The room was disgusting! Dirty carpet, cobwebs, dust everywhere, toilet dirty, smears on mirrors. I complained to ‘Maria’ who did apologise and then informed me that the only 3 cleaners who know how to clean are all ‘off today’ I was gobsmacked! The lift didn’t work either (just like the staff) The breakfast was shambolic… appalling! Where was the chef trained? Same place as the housekeeper clearly !!!!! Worst hotel I’ve stepped foot in

Ref 164 6574090 Worst experience I've ever had at a mecure. Lift was broken and refused alternative room ( disabled wife) window in room is broken, tv wouldn't work, coffee machine out of order, breakfast not nice and hears the best bit they had ran out of brown sauce!! Faulty towers eat your heart out ! So if you are disabled ♿ AVOID AT ALL COSTS. apparently lifts been out of order for months !
