Visited this property April 11th thru April 14th 2024. Right at this time of the year, the weather gets warmer and the hotel does not have the A/C working. They gave me an odd excuse saying that the city of Cologne needed to give them permission to turn on the chiller. We had to sleep with the windows open on a noisy street and exposed to sunlight early in the morning.

Fantastic hotel in Cologne. The rooms are massive, with very comfortable beds and pillows, and our room had a view of the Cathedral. Easy to get to by transit and easy to walk to the Central station. The mini bar was stocked with beer, water, sparkling wine and juice. The breakfast was plentiful and had lots of options to choose from. While this is more of a business hotel and not as charming as others closer to the Cathedral, we enjoyed the space of the large room after staying in smaller rooms during our trip.

I travelled to Cologne with my son and father for the Christmas markets. The staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel was clean and centrally located enabling us to walk into the markets. The parking at the hotel was also easy to use and made it very easy to get to. This was my 2nd visit to this hotel in the past couple of years and I will definitely use it again next time I’m in town.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Pullman Hotel Cologne. We arrived at around 11:30am and were pleasantly surprised to discover that our room was ready for us to check into, without the need for an extra fee, which was extremely appreciated after being up since 3am to travel! The room and bathroom was clean and modern, and the room was spacious. Storage/wardrobe space was also good. The location is around a 15 minute walk to the Cologne Cathedral, and about 20 minutes walk from the river front. The hotel has shops nearby for any snacks/drinks, and there is also a subway station just a 5 minute walk away. A downside was the wifi was very poor, it would only work for about 5 minutes and then disconnect. The air con also wasn’t the best, but there were big windows which opened and helped cool the room down quickly. Overall we would recommend this hotel.

Location, close enough to the center , 15 min walk, and close to the main shopping area. Rooms are clean but a bit outdated. Refurbishment needed. Free wifi is very slow and not for streaming. Lots of noise from corridor and rooms above. Especially our bathroom with a shower head in the bathtub has known better days. Free minibar with water is much appreciated. Staff at reception was friendly. Overall an ok experience.
