I wished to write a review to highlight the excellent care I experienced from two particular members of staff at this hotel. I sustained an injury during my stay and had to remain back in the room while my friends went out. Despite not normally offering room service I was sent a menu via WhatsApp and was able to place an order and have a meal brought to me in my time of need. This was all facilitated by Miguel and Max during my stay on 3/5/24. I felt genuinely cared for and that these two were happy to go the extra mile to help a guest. Their efforts were hugely appreciated- they are a credit to the hotel.

We stopped in Aberdeen as a base for a day trip to Balmoral. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast on the first morning was disappointing as some elements of the cooked items were cold however on the second morning they were much better. The food was fine and was lots of choice for breakfast. We also ate in the hotel on the night we got back late from our trip as we just wanted something quick and easy, the food was ok but was frozen oven food but worked for us. Would stay again if we come back to Aberdeen.

Everything excellent! Can't fault this hotel. Check-in was easy, reception staff very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Was invited to join the members club for discounts and a free drink at the bar (which i did, especially for a free drink!) My room (326) in perfect location. I requested a quiet room. This was a lovely quiet room. Comfy bed, fluffy pillows and temperature of the room was just right. Cleanliness here is immaculate, everything was spot on! The only thing...the shampoo needs topped up. It was almost empty. (Didn't bother me, didn't use it, but other guests may like to). I didn't have breakfast whilst there, so cannot çomment how good it is. I have already booked to come back in June and got a members discount. Happy days! I would highly recommend this hotel. It's lovely and perfect for location. The centre, bus station etc is just a 5 minute walk.

Nice stay, avoid evening meal.

Mid range hotel, centrally located. Staff were friendly and attentive, especially Helen, who seemed to be running the whole place. Breakfast plentiful and good. However, we had booked a deal which included a bottle of prosecco and an evening meal. Instead of prosecco we were given a drink voucher, which is ?OK but not the monetary value of the prosecco. The evening meal was disgusting, obviously cheap frozen meals heat up, couldn't eat it. Looking at the menu, the food was expensive and if this was not part of a deal would have sent it back.

We stayed here on business in April. Location was perfect. It was a 5 minute walk from the station, right in the city centre, located next to some great bars and restaurants and with views over the harbor. Food was simple and just heated up but did the trick. The highlight however was Helen, the lady who checked us in and served in the restaurant. She was wonderful and the perfect host despite seriously multi tasking. We had a great deal which included dinner, breakfast, late checkout and prosecco. Would definitely recommend!
