AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS: A Dantean Inferno Disguised as Hospitality If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, look elsewhere. This hotel is a nightmare disguised as a hospitality establishment. My stay was a masterclass in misery, thanks to a broken air conditioner and a front desk staff with the warmth of a glacier. Room of Fire: The advertised "climate-controlled comfort" was a cruel joke. The in-room thermostat was a decorative relic, with no effect on the temperature. I spent the night sweating like a gladiator in a sauna, tossing between thin sheets and a lumpy pillow. Complaining to the front desk was like talking to a brick wall. Their response was to open the window which was so unsafe. A Final Word: Unless you enjoy resembling a shriveled prune or relish being treated with the respect of a houseplant, avoid this hotel like the plague. There are better places to spend your hard-earned money (and sweat it all out). Rating: 0 out of 5 stars. Would rather sleep in a cardboard box. P.S. If you're the manager reading this, a word of advice: Train your staff and fix your air conditioners. Discomfort and apathy are a terrible combination for a hotel.

Regarding the climate control in your suite, we regret to hear that the air conditioning did not function due to reasons beyond our influence. While our team is trained to perform well in various fields, I am afraid that being a HVAC engineer is none of them. Unfortunately a technical breakdown can occur even all possible preventive maintenances and regular checks on the system are done and well documented. In such exceptional cases we do depend on the help of external experts in charge of the system. I am sure you do understand that they are doing their utmost to address the situation asap - yet an immediate fix is not always possible. If you could share a bit more details about your concerns about the safety of our windows which can be tilted instead of fully opened, I would be deeply grateful. We take all feedback seriously and continuously strive to improve our services. We value your comments as they assist us in our ongoing efforts to enhance our guest's experience. Our dedicated team is always on hand to assist our guests and ensure their comfort, and we apologize if we fell short of demonstrating this during your visit. I started going there since last year and I go there 2 times per year. The hotel is alright, nothing too special. Last year I stayed in a smaller room but this year I stayed in a bigger room. In the bigger room there were 2 beds, 1 toilet and 1 bathroom. There was a bathtub and a shower. There was also a big mirror in the bathroom. The bathroom had some unusual doors but it was alright. There was a mini vault in the room as well. We had a big table with 4 chairs. We had 8 outlets which was very good because we had 2 laptops, 3 iPads and 4 phones. The area was very nice, you could get fast to the metro station. The breakfast was very good though it could had more stuff and more desserts since it only had one. It had some good juices but my favourite one was the Sour Cherry one. They were prepared and ready for anything. You had a phone in the room and you could get to the bathroom easily at night. I loved it and whenever I go in Vienna this is the first hotel I think of going. It has some good prices as well.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the standard of this hotel. The location was perfect next to a metro station on the U1 main line into the city. Our room was available even though we arrived almost four hours early. The staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. The room was large with all facilities including settee, fridge and microwave. Would recommend highly.

Returned after a 3 night stay and very satisfied with our choice. Staff are helpful and informative. Position of the hotel is very good as access to the underground is very close, with a lift - ideal for people with limited mobility. The supermarket is also close by. The added bonus ( when travelling with a teenager) is the small but fabulous Pepe Nero pizza place serving a variety of food at a reasonable cost. Thoroughly recommend. Room is a decent size, adequate toiletries supplied, fridge. microwave and kettle provided but the selection of tea and coffee could be improved. Supplies were not replenished after our second night. The place is very clean. Cannot comment on breakfast as we were out and about but there appeared a decent selection…. But quite a queue. Access to the hotel in relation to the journey from the airport was uncomplicated and purchasing a 72 hour transport pass at the airport an excellent buy.

Warm friendly check in. We checked in at 12:30 and room was not ready as normal check in time was 3pm. So sat and waited for our room as it was raining. It took no more than an hr for the room. Got complementary breakfast as Platinums. Decent selection of choices at breakfast. All their rooms are called suites, one category so no upgrade. We booked a family suite, the room size is smaller than other hotels suites but doable. The Platinum welcome amenity was a bag of tea. So far after staying in 2 different hotels in Vienna, I can see that they are not too focused on the Platinum status. In other countries/cities, the Platinum welcome amenity is plentiful. Is it a Wien things? They have coffee, snacks and drinks you can buy in the lobby. Also umbrella for rental. They take a deposit but you get that back upon return. Overall not bad. I would recommend this hotel.
