Stayed here for four nights as part of a city break. Overall , this was very good. My room was comfortable, clean, quiet and spacious. The bathroom was also clean and well maintained. In terms of location, Berlin is a big city so it depends what you are looking for, but this is with easy walking distance of Berlin Wall , Checkpoint Charlie (obviously as per the name) , Brandenberg Gate etc. Generally, Berlin is well serviced with public transport. You are close to main roads and so there are local amenities easily available. Couple of minor negative points: The room was advertised as being a double room but the bed was two singles pushed together. I appreciate other hotels do this, but this was difficult to use as double because it had bed sheets for two single beds and you would need to move between them. Also there was quite a big dip between the beds. I paid for breakfast separately, cost was 25euros. I thought this was a little overpriced. Cooked part of the breakfast in particular was limited in choice and wasnt particularly warm. However, overall I would come back here.

We have had a wonderful stay here over the last 3 nights, there is not one fault I have found during our stay. The lobby area is lovely, really modern and always has a staff member available should you need any assistance. We've used the bar a few times over our stay and the staff have been so helpful, advised us on what beers to try and really friendly and welcoming after a long day walking around Berlin. Our room was on the second floor, I was worried at first because we were right opposite the lift however, this has not bothered us once, we've not heard it and it's been really useful to be near to it. The room was really big, separate toilet to the main bathroom and a walk in wardrobe with free use of the safe, this has been a great feature to our stay. We've also liked the use of the balcony, even though it has been really cold outside. The cleanliness has been immaculate throughout our stay, thank you all so much for a lovely, relaxing time, we will book here again when we next visit Berlin.

I needed 7 rooms for myself and my friends for a long weekend in Berlin and this hotel did not disappoint. Rooms are very large, clean and quite. The staff were professional and friendly. Reception staff could not do enough for me and my friends including us all arriving at 11pm and organising taxis to the airport at 07:30 as we left. The bar staff were very attentive and friendly. If you are looking for a centrally located hotel for a weekend to remember, I highly recommend this hotel. We are already planning a return trip and will be staying at this hotel.

How can the staff (possibly management) at check in who tell you they serve food at the bar until midnight, not know that the bar stops serving food at 10pm when the bar is literally the other side of the wall? I5 yards away maybe? Inform them at the front desk about their error, one you've waited patiently at the bar for, browsing a menu for the last 15 minutes, and you'll find a look of surprise, followed by a lecture about how the bar doesn't serve food after 10pm, everything but SORRY. And who doesn't even serve so much as a bag of nuts/crisps at a bar after 10pm anyway? Zero. Nothing. Nada. Zip ! 2nd time here. And Last.

Excellent 2 night stay. Very spacious room with complimentary drinks and snacks on arrival. Bed lovely and comfortable. Initially sofa bed was not made up but quickly rectified by housekeeping. Breakfast selection very nice and staff friendly. Hotel location excellent for the underground. We would rebook without hesitation.
