The check in went really slowly because of a system problem. Took at least half an hour. After some unsuccessful attempt we finally could enter in our rooms but half an hour later the electricity has gone. After few hours there were NO electricity in the whole hotel and the rooms without the air-condition started to getting really hot (outside temp 39 Celsius). We asked the receptionist who said she can't promise the electricity will come back. So we decided to move out and try to find another hotel. I wrote to the hotel manager via the e-mail address I got in the hotel and to the official Accor Customer Care asking a refund. The ACC just passed the problem to the hotel manager who never replied. So no IBIS, no ACCOR hotels for us in the future. The worst experience in my life!

Dated and in poor condition. Toilet roll holder fell off the wall, light switch fitting fell off the wall, shower holder broken so had to hold the shower head. Beds uncomfortable. Very old- tiny shower with curtain. Only redeeming feature was proximity to Europcar rental next door.

The IBIS BUDGET ANNEMMASS is definitely the worst IBIS we have ever stayed ... The place is completely run down - the rooms and bathroom are in desperate need of renovation. We certainly would never stay there again.

Hello, I am sorry to read that we have not been able to meet your expectations and your needs. I take note of your remarks, but I find that the terms used are exaggerated by rapprt to other customer reviews. Maybe you are mistaken in choosing your hotel range?

If you have ever stayed in one of the many Ibis Budget hotels, you can expect the same experience - it's funny that no matter how basic the hotel is, you will always have the fancy lights. The room was fine, very clean and the staff was kind and accommodating - this place is in the middle of nowhere with awful public transportation links so keep thi sin mind if you are planning to see something specific.

Friendly and helpful staff at check-in the guy even offered to help us with luggage. The family room was fine for four people for a one night stop. Wifi was free and good. It can be a bit difficult to find – our satnav tried to bring us around to the back – please note the entrance is accessed off the Route De Thonon by turning right at a set of traffic lights. Its about a 10 minute drive from the A40.
