I stayed 5 days for work in this simple hotel in a quiet area of the old-town of Erfurt. The room is not big but it is clean and there is everything you need. I had a room with the nice view to the court-yard and it was also quiet, that was very important for me. The breakfast was also quite ok. I did not experience problems of any kind. Maybe a bit pricy compared to the services and comfort it offers.

I'd say it's a bit more of an older Ibis regarding interior than most Ibis' I've been to. But not worse. Room service didn't clean our room on the second day but the front desk was very nice about it and brought us fresh towels right away. And regarding the location and price ratio, it cannot get better than this. If you don't wanna splurge and yet be about 10 minutes from the cathedral and 5 from Krämerbrücke, this is your place! Regarding the parking garage, what a hell. Spiral is for both cars coming in and out and the lights show red the whole time. So you have no clue if someone is coming down or not, same for the main door. And people being headless chickens sometimes ignore the lights and you find yourself in an awkward traffic jam. Forum 1 nearby is €3 cheaper and way easier to navigate!

Large room, good breakfast, central position, easily to park the car, but no charging station. Unfortunately, reception often overcrowded with sometimes pleasant staff sometimes less helpful. On the whole a good address.

The hotel is located in the old town of Erfurt. The shopping street, restaurants and some lovely sights were all within walking distance. The underground carpark costs 15 Euro per night. The room was small but ok. The Wi-Fi was working fine. The beds were a little bit too soft on the head side . I suggest to ask for some extra pillows. A hairdryer was in the bathroom. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

If every Ibis was like this, there'd be no complaints!

This Ibis is in a fabulous location in the heart of Erfurt, a few minutes walk in any direction from the city centre attractions, including the bars/restaurants shopping centre, and the river. Reception and rooms are typical Ibis in decor and furnishing: if you have familiarity with the brand you won't be surprised. The chap working reception/bar was very cheery and went above and beyond helping with a phone call to a German speaking company. Didn't use the restaurant/breakfast. It was quite expensive for an Ibis at about £90, however everywhere in erfurt seemed expensive.
