The hotel itself was lovely but not exactly a picturesque situation but the grounds and pool were very nice. The main disappointment was that upon arrival at 15:30 after driving nearly 8 hours from Luxembpurg, we reserved a table for dinner for 19:30 inside. We sat down for dinner were served the smallest gin and tonic in what appeared to be a tiny brandy glass. We then sat there for over 45 mins whilst everyone outside who arrived later than us were having their orders taken and food delivered. We could not attract anyones attention until I resorted to clapping my hands. We were apologised to but they said they would be with us shortly. Another 15 mins went by until we decided enough was enough and we walked put and had to go to Mc Donald's which sadly was the only other thing available in the close vicinity.

We arrived Sunday Christmas Eve due to an emergency. Nothing was too much trouble: allowing us to eat at the restaurant with our own food, store our food in their fridge and most of all extremely friendly. The rooms were comfortable with everything you need.It was very quiet too. I would definitely recommended them to anyone who needs a nice hotel with friendly staff in that area. I would like to thanks the staff who made our stay in this difficult time so much easier to bear, we really appreciate it.

The room was standard but clean and comfortable. It is located on a roundabout opposite a McDonalds. There did not seem to be many other shops around and it's probably recommendable to drive. It is a roughly a 20 min walk from the bus terminal and parts of the road are rubble. The staff were friendly and the food was tasty. The pool was small and overcrowded with guests.

The advantage of staying at Ibis, is that you can always get at least a light snack 24/24. There is always sufficient desk space for setting up a computer. On the other hand there is not a lot of space. I consider that the Standard Ibis hotel room is too cramped for a couple. There is not much wardrobe space, and there is definitely insufficient space in the bathroom for toiletries, medications...etc...etc... This last problem could easily be solved by fitting some shelves to the bathroom wall. I have suggested this many times, but Accor has ignored my suggestions. This particular Ibis seemed to have slightly more floor space than normal. This might have been achieved at the expense of the bathroom. Without making exact measurements I cannot be sure. The wardrobe and shelf space was more convenient to use than at other Ibis hotels. This was probably because shelf compartments faced directly outwards, instead of being turned laterally inwards. There were no problems with TV reception at this Ibis, but there was only 1 English language TV news channel. The internet seemed on the slow side. The bar/dining area was bright and cheerful, and they had a patio with outside tables, which would be pleasant in the summer. The hotel is located outside the town. It will be inconvenient if you do not have transport and you want to spend time in the town centre. The location seems to be part of a sprawling commercial centre, so there are restaurants and shops within walking distance. Hotel staff were friendly, efficient and helpful.

We had a one night stopover at the Ibis. The room was of a good size, well equiped and very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The outdoor pool was very pleasant after a long road trip. The restaurant was not open that evening but they still put together a meal for us which was greatly appreciated. Breakfast the following morning was typical "Ibis", a perfect french continental breakfast with fresh bread and croissants
