Good things: - very friendly and helpful staff! That really makes a difference - decent location - about 10 - 15 minute walk to Gare Part Dieu and right across from the fabulous food hall. Easy access to the center of town - very clean Bad things: - the room is TINY. I’m one small woman and it was hard for me to fit my suitcase in the room. Two people would be a challenge - the hairdryer. Seems silly but it blows about as strong as a whisper and only works for about one minute until it overheats. If you have long hair, forget it. It’s one of those old wall units, so could easily be replaced by the hotel. It’s a very basic hotel, but clean and decently located, so I would stay again.

The friendly staff, particularly Elliot on the front desk make this place a great stop over near Part Dieu station. The warm welcome, and locaton are great. The rooms are small but well designed, great breakfast including on a terrace. The lounge area and bar are spacious and comfortable. There's air conditioning, but you can also open the windows.

Hotel Ibis Part Dieu Les Halles is located in a worn out building nearly opposite to Les Halles de Lyon. The reception staff was nice and friend. Sadly the rooms are very small and worn out badly. The breakfast was a very basic one with nothing to really remember.

We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Lyon. The hotel is opposite Les Halles Paul Bocuse, and is about 20 minutes by foot from Presqu’ile. It is also just 10 minutes from the Westfield mall, and 15 minutes from the train station. The rooms are not very big but they were comfortable. The rooms we had did take some time to get cool, they were often quite warm! Even though the rooms were next to the main room, they were very quiet. The breakfast was good - especially the madeleines! The staff were uniformly helpful and the whole hotel is clean.
