Stayed here as part of a wedding, challenging due to the room being ready late we were super pushed for time. Thankfully the wedding venue was attached to the hotel (Willow & Stone) fabulous gate access for ease. The grounds are beautiful, the room was very tired and requires some serious attention especially for the price. It's showing its's age and there is lots of surface damage, the bathroom is very old and needs replacement. There are a number of different blocks around the hotel site, make sure you request your area if you want to be close to the main building.

Great place to stay for a quick visit. We are originally from Ballarat and needed to return due to seriously ill family member. We weren’t there for pleasure but the hotel offered a quiet and peaceful place to lay our heads after long emotional days. The restaurant was fast and efficient as well as the check in process. Room was well cleaned but a little old and needing some love.

Fantastic! Restaurant is sensational. Staff are welcoming, helpful and very professional. The rooms are comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. Great value for the price. Definitely go back and stay there.

As someone coming from Europe we really enjoyed this motel. This concept almost doesn’t exist where we’re from and this was a new experience for us. Staff was friendly and they helped us with our queries. Free park just under your window is super cool. Too bad the outdoor pool didn’t work but there was also independent spa on premises. Sitting next to the lake in the evening on a hot summer day it was super enjoyable.

We just stayed at this place for1 night coming to a wedding and booked the 2 bedroom Mews apartment at a high price and I found the place with bugs, small beetles, flies dead and alive, and the worst thing was when we went to bed there were ants under our pillows!!! The kitchen is very outdated and dark, install a few more lights please. No ice in freezer section, one of the blinds upstairs was totally gone. The heater in master bedroom didn't work and I froze all night long, didn't get much sleep at all. I did report all this to Catherine at reception when paying our bill overnight ($322 pn) !I would consider staying somewhere else.
