loved it. i used a different credit card to pay than the original one they had a hold on and it was released within 24 hours. there is only valet parking. when my husband stayed there last year he found public parking close . i used the valet they were quick and helpful. everyone was nice and friendly who worked there from check in to the restraunt to bar tender . who welcomed me back second day. i felt safe walking outside and on the area. fountains next door were relaxing . older hotel but with lots of charm

We were VERY, VERY, VERY well taken care of and will FOR sure be returning to this hotel secondary to treatment we received from Phil, Sal, Malik, Greg, Sampson, Darrel, Brooklynne. From Phil who took care of our car service, giving directions and tour around the hotel to Malik who was considerate when our room was an hr late being cleaned, to Greg our driver who got is there timely, to Sal who very friendly opening door with kind banter to Sampson who carried our bags to our room, to Darrel to guided us to Dakotas to Brooklynne who was the kind server who spoke and smiled everytime we passed her and took care of our food. Must mention The owner of Dakotas who made sure we were taken care of and Zak our waiter. We LOVE this place!!!!!

We stayed at the Fairmont Dallas for the wedding weekend for my son and daughter in law. The staff was extraordinary to all of our friends and family. Philip P, concierge, went out of his way to make sure that everyone was happy. Philip really made it a special weekend for the bride and groom.
