Great hotel, attached to the airport. We flew in very late and were so glad we booked this hotel at the airport. Super easy to navigate getting there. Hotel was lovely, super comfortable stay. No issues at all. Would stay here again - easy to drive everywhere from as well!

Check in was quick & friendly even at 2am after our late flight arrival. Room was clean and functional. Only a very short walk from terminal, would stay again when in Christchurch.

Perfect for pre and post trip stays Flew LAX overnight to Auckland and connected to Christchurch arriving mid day for our two week self driving tour of the South Island. We chose to stay at the Novotel for our first night to slowly adjust from our jet lag. There are free carts at the airport and you can just wheel your luggage the 100 meters or so to their front door. Very convenient. The hotel and staff are outstanding. The rooms are very clean, beds comfortable, shower pressure strong. No noise apparent from the airport next door. There is an option for a reasonably priced breakfast buffet - which is outstanding and highly recommended. The honey for your tea drips out of an encased bee hive ! It was our first meal in NZ and really set the tone. We had rented a car from an offsite local agency, Apex - Concierge services called them that morning and requested a hotel pickup! We returned two weeks later, pretty exhausted from our whirlwind trip. Novotel was just as we had left it - perfect. We had a later flight and Novotel charges an extra 30 NZD for each additional hour past eleven. For us, with no Accor status, it was well worth a few extra hours. On our last morning, my wife was “ill” and server Masey went the extra mile to help out. Masey was representive of all the outstanding staff. Highly recommend!

Wonderful location, and a very nice comfortable hotel. The dinner was very goo as well. not much more to be said. the staff was friendly and helpful. Everything you needed was there. what more can I say.
