This hotel is the standard Mercure. Clean, better than basic, fine. But don’t confuse this with the other Mercure in St Malo. This one is a fair distance from intra muros. The welcome was less than graceful. Greeted by a rather distant receptionist. We were told that the indoor parking was full and then directed fairly peremptorily to a nearby car park. It was all fine, but not what I came to expect from Mercures in my working life. She seemed to respond better later when I spoke French, asking where breakfast was to be served. It was the usual Mercure. Reliable and fine for work. If you want something special on holiday, maybe try another place,

It's not amazing, but it's good enough. Our family room was very nice and specious. It's also easy to come with the car, although their parking is very limited and small. But all in all it works well for the price. If the price of the room makes sense to you and you don't mind not being within walking distance from the historical centre, it's a good choice.

Modern hotel 20 minutes from the walled town. It has its own underground parking which must be reserved in advance. The staff are very helpful and had good recommendations fir eating locally and in the walked town. Would definitiely recommend staying there.

We are glad that the geographical location of our hotel has met your expectations. Ideally located opposite the train station and 1km away from Intra-Muros, the various tourist and cultural points of the city and its surroundings are easily accessible. Concerning the parking, we have 15 underground parking spaces for 77 rooms. Access is by reservation only and at an additional cost. If we unfortunately run out of space, you can always find a parking space in one of the public parking lots around the hotel. These parking lots are chargeable during the day and free from 7pm to 9am, as well as on Sundays and public holidays. a perfect stay. hotel near the train station. the receptionist was very nice and welcoming and speaks Korean perfectly. the drinks are delicious especially the mojito. the breakfast was fresh and very good. the room my bed everything was comfortable

Very good but let down by bathroom faults

I thought the room was great, the staff very helpful. Bar is okay parking very secure and safe. The room nice view of the library and station, really nice. Restaurants nearby all good. Housekeeping excellent regarding bed making, cleaning (see bathroom comment) could not fault. However; 1: toilet seat two of the rubber feet are missing so the toilet seat rocks and moves and it should not. 2: shower tray where it joins the bathroom floor dirty even on day two, dirt and ?lime scale. I cleaned a portion in less than a minute easy to do but not my job. 3: two cracked tiles in the shower in the corner, there Just should not be broken tiles! In a two star I would tolerate however 180 euros a night and a four star rating these faults should not be there. I liked the hotel, I liked the location but attention to detail is required for a 4 star rating and prices.
