We visited this amazing hotel…. And what customer service 🫶…. Amazing staff ‘Trinh’ was so wonderful and helpful …. Great view of the sunset 🌅 good music and wonderful staff…. Peanuts 🥜 snacks are most appreciated 🥂…. Shez Jen and Jods .. we will be back ….

ホテルのスタッフ様やお部屋（アップグレードありがとうございます）や朝ご飯などのサービスは大満足でした。 とても広い綺麗に掃除されたお部屋で、過ごしやすかったです。 朝ご飯もとてもおいしかったです。 ただ残念だったのは、エグゼクティブラウンジが使える部屋でしたが、 エグゼクティブラウンジの営業内容がコストパフォーマンスにみあっておらず、 16時半から19時までが軽食のあるカクテルタイムで、それ以外はソフトドリンクやコーヒーやお茶とスナック数種類程度しかなく、今までいくつか利用してきた、エグゼクティブラウンジの中では、最下位の内容でした。 アフタヌーンティーを楽しまれているレストランを通り抜け、それをみて期待したのですが、クッキー、ナッツなどしかなく、お値段も高めに払っているのに…と虚しさを感じました。 また、今回ご用意いいただいたエグゼクティブクラスの部屋（8階）の棟とラウンジは、別の棟（8階）にあり連絡通路がないため、1階まで行き、また8階に上がるというのは不便でした。 ルームナンバーを伝え鍵を見せただけでは、ラウンジが使えるかわからない。と夫はいわれたようで、pcでエグゼクティブクラス滞在か確認できないのかなぁと不満に思いました。 ヒルトンマルタや他のホテルは、今回ご用意いただきました、カクテルタイムの軽食が常に用意され、朝ご飯、ティータイム、夜ご飯の時間は、もっと色々楽しめます。雑誌やpcがあるホテルもあります。 それ以外には、プールがあるのであれば、洗濯機が欲しいです。 水着などは、自分で洗いたいです。 せっかく良いホテルですので、この点も今後改善されることを望んでおります よろしくお願いします。

We had a good experience overall. The hotel has a great location (~ 10 min walk along the river to town) and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We had booked a river view room, which was beautiful. Only negative is that the walls were quite thin so we could hear our rowdy neighbors at night and some cars honking on the street through the balcony doors, but it wasn’t too bad overall.

Royal Hoi an is in the west part of Hoi a town on the river front which is much quieter than the Hustle and bustle of the town centre. It’s devidied into two building- the newer Wakuku Wing from 2018 and the older Satoro Wing from 2014. The Wakuku building is much more impressive building with nice interior design with outdoor terrace for meals whilst the Satoro looks aged inside with more Interior of the 90-es and makes it look less like a 5 star hotel. They have 11 bicycle for guest for no charge.Concierge is in the older Satoro building. Initial room was 807 and 801 Both suite on the 8th floor. 8th floor unfortunately is very warm on the corridor as just under the roof and more attic level height ceilings in the rooms. It had a smaller living and a large dining table unlike 801 which had a good size Living. There is a large bathroom with two cubicles- shower and commode with a large bath tube. 801 has a similar set up, closer to the lift and a larger living and smaller dining area. Bed was at three far end adjacent to the doors out to the terrace. There is a small terrace with a table and three chairs with view of the front of the building. The suites were rather dark with a musky smell like they do not get used or aired very often. As the aircon sensors was not working we were moved into Suite 2708 the Wakuku suite on the 7th floor which is a great step up in both interior and size to the Wakuku suite ie 807. Beautiful marble tiled interior, birch and modern. Large dining room with table for 6 , bar area, with seating for 3 . Noise issues exterior both from room 2709 due to the gap below the door and also corridor and external To building with the constant honking. There is also noise at night as they cleaning the Deck and executive lounge as the chairs are being dragged and it just above the room. Large bedroom With two balconies and a large bathroom with circular bathtub slightly elevated in the middle with two cubicle Just at the corner of the new building so lots of street noise ie honking and also people shouting from time to time. Also at night dragging of chairs in the lounge can be hear in the room. Executive Lounge on the 8th floor adjacent to the deck is open from 11-10 with happy hour 4.30-7 with free cocktail- the same three cocktails( pandan field, with some other spirits with mixers. Finger Food selection were average to good. Service was attentive. Breakfast- Faifo restaurant . Good selection of Asian and western food. A noddle, egg and pancake/ waffle station . Good juices, fruits ripe on most days. Usual composition of a full English. Lack of napkins being replaced as tables are used. A lack of larger tables for party of 4 as do not fit well in the standard table 4 which is more suited for two or three. The manager Stuart was excellent with the issues we had in the room with the aircon. He had the maintenance guys up there very quickly, identified the issue and moved us to another room.

We had a two night stay in the Hotel Royal. Could not fault the rooms for comfort, cleanliness and appointment. Overall staff friendly and helpful. Just ate breakfast and had a drink at night in the roof top bar. Everything was very good, nothing bad, but not outstanding, and I have come to expect a little higher quality from Sofitel M Gallery properties, in Asia. I think that some of the public areas look a little in need of attention, especially the terrace area off the main restaurant. The main pool however was a pleasure to relax around. Saying that, it is a great option for the old town, was extremely comfortable, with very good service, and the price point offered good value for money.
