This the worst experience we have had in an Accor Hotel. - The Wifi barely worked - We were provided with a remote with duct tape on it and the tape did not hold. When I ask for the remote to be replaced, I was told that the other rooms were occupied and was provided with the same remote with clear tape this time (I took pictures) - There were no tissues available in our room and in the entire hotel. I was given napkins or hand paper towel instead. And when I said that this is not soft for the nose, I was told to use the toilet paper. - It was very hot in the room, The AC was not working and when I asked the front desk, I was told the hotel is not allowed to put on the AC because we are in March/April even if it is hot. - We experienced very loud noise from planes flying nearby even with the window closed so opening the window to get some fresh air was not possible. As a result, we were not able to sleep. - To make matters even worst, at 11:29 pm (I took a picture), there were 2 people (delivery men/suppliers I assumed) unloading a truck very loudly. - We asked for a wake up call at 6:30 am and the wake-up call was an employee that came and knocked at our door at the established time. - Finally, the front dest tried to charge 126 Euros instead of the 88.70 euros they were supposed to charge. They claimed that somebody made a mistake and changed the rate. This was appalling. This is unacceptable and Mercure Rome Leonardo Da Vinci should be ashamed to offer this rock bottom standard of service. This was a horrible stay and ACCOR should fix this as this has negatively impacted its reputation as a solid hotel consortium.

Monhs ago I had tartare that was delicious, this time I tried the octopus on mashed potato and tagliolini with spigola and lemon, all very good. Simple dishes with refined taste. I would recommend more choice for wine by the glass, but it's fine.

Due to a delayed flight from Ryanair (No surprise there) we decided to stay at the Mercure. It’s a mixed bag I’m afraid. Although the staff were pleasant and the room was ok, with a lovely shower room the experience was marred by a very very uncomfortable and hard bed, no Wi-Fi and an unbearably hot room with inoperative and very noisy air conditioner. It was so hot that we had to open the external door but obviously couldn’t go to sleep with it open. The A/C was so noisy and pumped out hot air. In the end we had to lay wet towels over us to cool down. Zero hours sleep!

Due to a lack of wifi and being on a business trip we had to checkout after one night and find a new hotel. The staff was very understanding but based on other reviews we found it sounds like the wifi issues have been going on for a few weeks. If this is something critical to your stay you might want to go somewhere else.

1.No TV in English 2.no creamer for coffee 3. No outlet for you phone or laptop to charge except one that is connected to lamp 4.shuttle not free $6 person and goes every hour 5. Steps to carry your luggage so if you cannot carry your bags down 4 steps then it’s a problem.
