Convenient and affordable but with issues

1) We had trouble with our flight into Paris and were at serious risk of losing an entire day. We had paid in full several months in advance, yet when we sent the hotel a message informing them of our difficulties and anticipated late arrival their response was if we failed to checkin by noon the next day we would lose the reservation. This in spite of completely paying in advance for a week's stay and completing online checkin. What's the purpose of advanced checkin and paying in advance? 2) The hot water failed for a day. Hotels should have onsite engineering or have on contract engineering staff for repairs. 3) The rooms are not cleaned by housekeeping. Now I can understand certain health precautions limiting the cleaning, perhaps every second day. But this isn't the case, the hotel will arrange housekeeping, for an 18 euro fee per cleaning. However, the room does come with a vaccum cleaner and fresh towels are available upon request at the front desk. 4) The rooms are clean, but the hallway rugs are filthy. Otherwise, the establishment is a convenient 15 minute walk to La Defense Esplanade Metro (slightly less convent to La Defense RER). For shopping here is a Intermarche literally next door. It is in a quiet location.

 This place is in a quiet neighborhood with parks, shops, restaurants, grocery stores all within walkable distance. Take a stroll downhill as River Seine is close by, you could see Eiffel Tower from afar. Slightly uphill is a place with children's play area, a carousel, water fountains, benches, etc where you could relax. Close by is Parc Mairie with lots of green cover. Add to these the options inside the hotel itself - a quite area where kids can read books, do colouring, play boardgames, etc. Breakfast is good with a lot of variety. Above all, Staff are very courteous and polite. Could remember Jose at the reception who is pleasant, very helpful, and wonderful to talk to. Same with others just that I don't remember everyone's names! Wish everyone one well, as you continue your good work!

What an absolute gem of a place to stay

Great location. Great facilities. Comfortable and clean and would highly recommended this place to anyone. 15 minutes walk to the metro station which we used everyday for 7.50 euros for bus and metro ticket. Although we bought a 3 day pass which was cheaper although my ticket kept stopping working and had to get a new one which was fine they just changed it at the ticket office. The metro was on strike but we managed to download a bus app on our phone which gave great directions to navigate our way around even though we were packed like sardines. It was a joke but we just laughed about it but the Parisiennes thought we were crazy. Wouldn’t have happened in the Uk as they wouldn’t have allowed more people on but they just kept packing them in ! Not usually like that they we were told it’s just because of the strikes. Easy to get around though with good bus services. Great little supermarket just downstairs and we found a Marks and Spencers at the metro station so bought food there as the instructions were in english for cooking the meals and it was the same price as at home and you knew what you were getting. We did eat out a couple of times and the food was ok. But we were so busy all day sightseeing we just ate when we got home to be honest. The staff at the hotel were helpful and i would highly recommend this aparthotel. They have a safe store for your luggage if you arrive early. Just make sure you have the right address As there are a few around and a couple of people came to the wrong one. Would definitely go back or use the same chain in other locations.

comfortable if you want to explore Paris

my wife and I stayed here with our 2 kids (4 and 7) for 3 nights to explore the main sights from Paris. we had the 40 m2 appartment with a bedroom that sleeps 2 + couch in the living. Excellent! - 150 mtr to metro line 1 - 10 mto to a bakery - 400 mto to a Carefour City which has all you need - several restaurants on walking distance although during our stay most were closed for summer holiday - parking on 25 mtrs in parking garage Michelet - free wife for unlimited devices. not always great but good enough to download some Netflix episodes
