I've stayed around different hotels in Frankfurt and this hotel had the best breakfast! The service at the breakfast lounge was very helpful and kind. The hotel is on a busy street so it may seem hectic but once you're inside it's very nice. It's very secure, you have to have your key card to even open the hotel door entrance .

Bad attitude from front desk staff.

I really don’t recommend this hotel. The experience I had at checkout with this German lady was horrible. She was so rude to me…I didn’t even feel welcomed as an Accor member. The only positive thing was the breakfast which was delicious and the room which was nice but the toilet and curtains were abit dirty. This woman wasn’t even trying to hear my side of the story and was straight up rude. She was trying to charge me the full amount stay just because I was an hour late, due to being sick and it took me abit longer to get my 4 year old ready…As a member i do have the benefits for late checkout. I tried calling the reception to inform them about it but the phone wasn’t working. Anyways she had such a bad attitude…I don’t even understand why these type of people work at the front desk or in customer service. Her colleague was nicer but he also tried to charge me the full amount when i checked in even though I booked the room with points. Anyways I definitely won’t be staying here again. Plus at night there are many homeless and drug addicted people in front of the hotel which is kind of scary…

The superior room I stayed in was spacious and the bed is comfortable. Bathroom is huge. The breakfast spread was amazing and you get to make your own pancakes and waffles. Check in was a breeze and I must comment Ms Jasmine for her welcoming smile and for ensuring I am taken care of despite the room was not ready. She has kindly offered me access to the washroom for a quick freshen up before I went for a walk while waiting for the room to be ready. She also ensured that I did not wait long for the room after I returned an hour later of which I was allocated 503 which is quiet and has nice calming view. Thank you for her recommendation for nice German food in Romerberg too. I would also like to commend Gwen who was serving at the bar lounge. She served excellent drinks and was very welcoming and approachable. Kudos to her that the evening was filled with much fun and laughter together with some of the guests. I would definitely stay in this hotel in my future trips!

There’s definitely better options…

While the location is quite central, the hotel is surrounded by brothels, Erotic-cinemas, drunk people and drug user. The lobby is very pretty, but that’s pretty much it. The rooms look old and not like they’re being taken care of. The TV was not fully functional, the blinds were dirty and so was the bathroom. There was coffee pods but not coffee machine. Check-in took ages as there system was not working properly. There’s still signs from Covid times urging people to keep distance… overall not a great stay.

Good location, poor attitude of staff and shower blocked.

Booked this hotel for its location, which is convenient for the main station and only a short walk to the old town. Room was small, with little to no storage for clothes. On face value it was clean and warm. Cleaner did change towels etc daily but failed to replace coffee pods for the machine and the milk etc. Friends had an issue with their shower drain being blocked so cleaned this to allow them to shower. On reporting this at the front desk they were told they should have been informed and they would have cleaned this. Hours later when I had the same issue I went to reception and reported the matter. The receptionist (slim arrogant looking male) said "what do you expect me to do about this, I am not a cleaner." I told him I certainly was not a cleaner and asked if he could arrange for it to be cleaned. He stated "not today". I explained he was the hotel representative on duty and as such should assist. He said he only worked 2 days a week and gave a very good impression of not caring too much. I then went and cleaned the drain of a weeks worth of tangled hair so I could complete my shower without flooding the room. The above incident left a poor impression. Like many large cities there are clear social issues which means a large amount of homeless people sleep rough in the area of the hotel. There was clear drug dealing and drug use happening but that said, whilst in a group of 4 I did not feel threatened by this behavior.
