We stayed at this hotel in one of the suites on the top floor. The suite was spacious and adequately appointed. The location of the hotel is central and all parts of the city are easily accessible. This for the positive - on the not so positive, the WIFI in the room had to be reconnected up to 10 times a day to keep coverage, the adjacent suites were very loud as younger guests seem to book them on week-ends for just one (party) night, the street below was also very loud - and the pubs nearby close late. The top floor is serviced by one elevator only, and that elevator broke down. The room key got demagnetized daily - we took the stairs back to the reception who offered nothing in way of apology and we had to climb the stairs back up. Breakfast is mediocre and staff inattentive. Good party night hotel if you are young and need a place to crash. If not, find another place.

I am sincerely very sorry should you have felt our team were not apologetic enough with regards to this and also for having to have your key re cut due to it deactivating. This can happen when placed near a mobile phone or other cards. I further apologise for any inconsideration other guests had when in the hotel by way of causing noise and creating a disturbance. If any disturbance is reported, we will always investigate and ask any guest to quieten down. I am sorry we did not get this opportunity. I appreciate your comments about breakfast. I will share this feedback with the team to see where we have failed to impress and make any necessary improvements to our offering and service levels. Your feedback is well received and we will use it in the best possible way to reflect and make improvements. We thank you for having chosen to stay with us on this occasion. Excellent location and great room

We really enjoyed staying here for a long weekend (3 nights). The hotel is in an incredibly good location for going to the caves and the castle, and there are great bars, cafés and restaurants very close by (with delicious vegan offerings). Our room was very clean and comfortable, and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We'll definitely book to stay here again next time we're visiting Nottingham!

While understanding there was construction at the site,the stay was great. Close to everything. It was so comfortable actually slept a full 12 hours. Haven't done that in years. Staff was very helpful and gracious. Gave us good advice on places to eat.

Loved this quirky hotel. Made a change from the everyday corporate hotel where all the rooms, facilities etc are always identical. The bedroom was compact but excellent, with all the little extra's you come to expect in a hotel room, including biscuits with the tea/coffee facilities. Loved the individual decor, including the slopping floor and a lovely comfortable bed. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious, with a good selection of items both hot and cold. The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the centre of the city with everything close to hand. Will definitely be staying there again.

Great reception from staff at all times when visiting the hotel. Met with friendly Vinay and Bruno Great service provided by the young gentleman at breakfast. Darren we think. Friendly Peter on reception on our departure. Hotel, despite renovations was very nice, even the workmen were friendly and offered us good morning. Room good and extremely reasonably priced. We will definitely return to this central hotel in the future. Ken. (07/04/2024)
