It is my first time to stay in Adagio chain of hotels, particularly in Basel Switzerland and I look forward in booking in the same hotel in my future trips in different parts of the world. Stayed here for 6 days and 5 nights with a friend. Reasons: 1. Apartment type hotel conveniently located to supermarkets and public transpo such as tram. 2. It has laundry area, gym and luggage storage. 3. Spacious room. Feels like a home away from home. 4. Own kitchen and living room area. 5. Friendly staff at the reception. Free pastries, welcome drinks at the lobby. 6. Has a small snacks counter in the reception. 7. Comfortable and cozy lobby reception. 10/10 as rating.

Hi all, Stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days, this hotel is perfect location for the town, we were on the 5 floor, the apartment is great for Self catering everything you need is there, staff are very helpful, we went to the Christmas markets which are very magical but Basel is very expensive, co-op and Lidl are very close so stock up. Definitely use the trams to get about.

The room was actually a small apartment with a little kitchen (which I did not use). The bed could have been lifted up to make room for an eating table; the lifting mechanism made the bed a little creaky, but it was comfortable. The apartment was very clean but in need of renovations: the wall was rather scuffed up and the furniture has seen better days. Nice bathroom with good shower. WiFi was good, but the power outlets and light switches confusing. There was no reading light. Most (if not all) of the apartments appear to be on the ground floor surrounding an inner courtyard which guests can use. If you like sleeping with an open window, this is fine as long as nobody is smoking or having lively conversations in that courtyard. Also, one probably would not want to open the window all the way horizontally, but only tilt it open. Breakfast was very standard for this class of hotel. The neighborhood is not the fanciest, but the Rhine river, old town, shopping, etc., are all within easy walking distance. Besides, one gets a card for free public transportation.

Payed for 3 beds (2 double beds and 1 pull out couch) and received 2 beds (1 double bed and 1 pull out couch). They did not offer a refund, despite only receiving 2/3rds of the accommodation payed for.

We apologize for the misunderstanding, all our apartments are for maximum 4 guests, so there is the possibility for one double bed plus twin beds (2 separate beds) or 4 twin beds. Good location, nice and helping staff. Rooms are good, big but the bed was "folding", and we do not know why. This makes bed a little too soft. Breakfast is very good and cost benefit is very good. Rooms are not cleaned every day, unless you ask for it and, if more than once a week but you have to pay extra.
