Good location and room but staff and customer service shocking

Terrible customer service. Extremely unhelpful staff with no desire to help guests with reported problems. Air conditioning did not work, they offered a fan. We already had a broken fan in the room so told them this wasn’t good enough. They sent a technician up after 3 days who told us they ordered specialist parts to come the next day…this was a lie. The next day I enquired where the specialist parts were and they offered me a fan again. When I returned to the room the whole electrics had failed in the room and we were left in darkness. This was the final straw we asked for a room change and we’re granted this the following day. The safe then failed and wouldn’t open we had all of our money and passports in there along with some valuables. When reported to reception at approximately 7pm, we were told that no-one would be able to help us until 9am the next day. Front door code and Wi-Fi code changed, we thought it was us being stupid but when we finally reported they told us it changed on the 1st of the month. I’m not sure who we were expected to know that. Nothing in the room was changed replenished or cleaned in a whole week stay. You need to go to reception to ask for basic replacement items like toilet rolls and towels. All in all a good location and although the rooms are basic they were more than good enough for a family to stay in for a week and see the sights of Paris. I just wish the staff were more helpful and attentive to guests who stay at the hotel. It’s a nice hotel but considering the size and amount of rooms, there really was very limited staffing with no one visible at front of house most of the time.

Came here on a student trip with a group of 16. The rooms were great, staff extremely welcoming and helpful, and the hotel well-positioned with good metro connections and some useful shops nearby. We didn't try the breakfast but the accommodation itself was great. I would come here again.

When paying so much money, you expect some level of service. They have gone pretty hideous about basic things - cleanliness, housekeeping, etc. They didn't disclose outright during booking, and when I asked, they said housekeeping is paid. Even for fresh towels, you can only ask them in evening, and have to come to lobby to collect. Not staying again.

Reasonable for a party of three, with one very large bed plus sofa bed, small kitchenette and separate bathroom with separate toilet. There’s a balcony which could be better used if it had a couple of chairs with table so you could eat breakfast there. Toilet is so small that if you’re not careful, you’d hit your head on the door when getting up. Bath is too deep with high sides so you have to climb over. With three in our group staying five nights, they left us only three toilet rolls. Staff at reception are quite helpful and friendly.

We booked an apartment for 4 people but when we got to the room the extensible couch was not made, therefore we had to call the reception, but the phone in the room was not working. Then we did it ourselves, however everything was dusty and used. But this was not the worst part of the experience. On our second day there, there was no hot water. We went downstairs to the reception twice to complain about this and ask when it will be solved. The staff told us in a very rude manner that they do not know and cannot say anything about it, without even an apology. Moreover, we brought a towel from the room which had a hole in it and requested to replace it. Without any apologies, the receptionist gave us one new towel but insisted that we take the old one back to the room. We told him we don’t need the ripped towel back and left it on the reception counter. The front office employee started becoming very aggressive, chasing us with the towel, screaming and touching us. He insisted to accompany us to the room, but we refused because we were scared of his aggressiveness. We did not feel safe at all and kept telling him that we will call the police.And all of this happened in a lobby full of guests. After this incident, we did not trust the staff or the hotel for any other problem that we might have, like the lights in the room that were flickering, the portable heater that only worked in the first night. I want to mention that we can get past the dirtiness and the lack of hospitality from the staff, but we cannot accept being harassed by the hotel staff in such a manner. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel and it was terrible in every way possible. I really hope that our bad experience will be heard and we expect a reply from the management of the hotel.
