Unpolite staff, only interested in money. Worse is ibis budget everywhere. They dont want guests more then a few days. Chasing them away. The food is superexpensive. Supermarkt pizza for 15 euro?! Breakfast sane problem superexpensive. Unpolite rude breakfast staff.

This hotel was just somewhere to put our heads down and use as a base for exploring Brussels. We had a room with three single beds, one of which folds up. It was clean, functional and had an ensuite bathroom and separate shower room. The hotel is right beside the main station, trains go to Brussels Central every 15 minute or so and take 20 minutes, kids up to 12 travel for free on the train, and the return tickets are €7.50 at the weekend, €13 during the week. There's a car park as part of the station which is €24 for 24 hours, all we needed. Yes, there were building works going on in the reception, but we had no intention of dining or hanging round a budget hotel when we could be in the Grand Place of Brussels in 25 minutes.

Couldn’t find the front door! Very badly sign posted. Rooms are tiny, one towel per person, one pillow per person, to actually sit on the toilet you must leave the toilet door open. Had to put suit case under the bed to make room to move around the room. Man on front desk was friendly and helpful. A lot of building work going on, think it would have been best to close during this time.

What I booked was a room with air conditioning and a breakfast. What I got was a building site, a room with no A/C (so you get the choice of window open, next to the train station and all the noise that entails, or being cooked) and no breakfast. No warning was given of this up-front from Ibis, no reduction in price and no apology. I assume that this company simply does not care so I will avoid this, all Ibis hotels and all Accor group hotels going forwards.

Overall bad experience, stayed only for one night. The bathroom door made noise while opening/closing, the window blinds lock was broken, having a wash-basin inside room was a horrible exprience. Had sent the request at the time of reservation for a single room, without the bunk bed, but was still given one with bunk bed on your head.
