The Ibis is in a good location in the city center of Casablanca. The rooms are exactly like other Ibis hotels and makes for a comfortable stay. Dinner and breakfast isn’t too great but edible. Wifi is fine as well. Easy access to supermarkets.

I only stayed for 1 night. The room is ok but my main concern is the cleanliness. The bathroom is moldy. Sheets are dirty makeup residue on the sheets. Please change your sheets for the next guest. Disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. There are other options in the area.

There are only 2 plus points for this hotel - location and price. Even so, given the overall experience, it should be priced lower. Hotel is just across Casa Port Station; convenient if you have train arriving and departing there. The hotel lobby and reception is nicely decorated but as they say, superficial beauty because there is absolutely zero customer service and no one even said 'Welcome'. Upon my early arrival, I was told I have to wait till 12pm to check in. When I returned to check-in, one staff was attending to another guest while a 2nd staff was busy doing his work while I was clearly standing and waiting to be attended to. The 2nd staff eventually attended to me and handed me a form to fill up my guest details after which he told me to pay 15Dh city tax. The room key card didn't work initially so I had to return to the reception. Now the room: it is absolutely bare and clearly not maintained. While it was clean, the bathroom door cannot close properly, there are ZERO hooks, hanger or anything in the toilet where you can hang your clothes and towels, no toiletries except for hand soap and shower soap (for which the bottle was broken). No bottled water, no cups, no kettle, no coffee or tea in the room. It was probably the worst Ibis I have stayed at. Thankfully I was there for one night only so really, it is good for one night only if you don't want to pay for anything more expensive.

Poor customer service from the staff on the front desk. The staff were not welcoming to us and one of them has a particularly arrogant manner. There was an issue regarding our booking which had been paid for in full by our travel agent in advance. The member of staff refused to accept this despite us having emails and vouchers to prove it. We had to call the UK office of Trailfinders who resent the confirmation. No apology from the staff. It might be a budget hotel, but that is no reason for the poor attitude of the staff on the front desk. Wouldn't stay there again.
