A budget hotel and similar to others in the Ibis chain -- all very clean and well maintained. What stood out for me was the staff: welcoming, friendly, helpful. They were a delight and a credit to Ibis. I needed to store my bicycle securely -- they couldn't have been more willing and helpful.

Easy to find with adequate parking. The hotel reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was as to be expected at an Ibis Budget and as usual very clean. Our only complaint was the inadequacy of the air con. We needed it during the heatwave and it was very feeble and although it was hot... 32.5c... It was cooler to open the window rather than have it shut with the air con on. Traffic noise was a problem as a result

Recently stayed 4 nights at the Ibis Budget in St. Lo, Normandy while on a WWII Battlefields tour that included the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. While the hotel is very much "budget" (ie: small), it is new, super clean, great shower, and the staff is wonderfully accommodating. Breakfast was good, and on our last morning there while I was helping others from our tour group and didn't have time for breakfast, the staff sacked up breakfast for me to take on the road. One special "shout out": front desk clerk Aline Francois went above and beyond being helpful by printing emails/paperwork for our tour group, and when my husband and I were with one of the tour guests in the St Lo hospital, she even came to the hospital when her shift was over to give us a ride back to the hotel, because she knew the taxis stopped running at 11pm. (How thoughtful was that?!)

We had been let down staying elsewhere the previous night whilst we were in between houses,..basically no sleep on a rubbish bed. So we decided to spend an extra night in the area. Booked the room at 9am , 2.5 hours before we checked in. Took a shower and slept for 5 hours! Everything about the place was great...clean tidy, comfortable, early check in, good location for meals. Wished we had stayed there in the first place

This hotel is very cheap and a good location vis a vis cost. The bathroom arrangements are rather strange. The toilet was in a cupboard basically, the basin in the bedroom and a small shower separate so to dry oneself you had to come out into the room. There was a bunk bed above the main bed which I smashed my head on and am still suffering from. Breakfast cost 13 euros for 2 but when we got there it had been demolished by a large group of Germans and not been replenished so was a waste if money. Overall, a disappointing visit and will opt for Ibis Styles in future which are slightly more expensive but more comfortable.
