Cold breakfast, filthy room carpets, nice staff.

We booked 3 rooms over Christmas, the staff were lovely and there is a Burger king next door. Great mini snack selection and the coffees from the bar were good. However €35 for a cold breakfast wasn’t good, the sausages looked raw and the eggs although boiled were runny yolked and had been sitting around a while. The toaster didn’t want to toast, the orange juice was powder but so watery that it was literally just water. Really really disappointing and I’m so glad on a 5 day trip that we only fell for buying breakfast once, an expensive mistake! The room size was good, pillows were not. Bed was comfy. Very noisy outside, probably linked to having a Burger King next door. Not sure I’d stay there again, the carpets in the room were really dirty and I didn’t want to tres on them then get into bed so put a towel down over the really soiled areas, in the room next door (312) my son said he thought there were vomit stains on his floor. Need to complain really but the staff were so lovely that I didn’t want to upset the one on duty the morning we left. Amsterdam as always was wonderful but wouldn’t use this hotel again

I was able to put my electric bike inside the garage and Stephan helped me very well with this,sweet people. The shower and room were very clean and the sheets also...I would definitely come back. Xx

I can’t believe this is a three star hotel! From the moment we checked in staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is very well maintained. Our rooms were small but perfectly designed to include everything we could need, and the closet was spacious enough for such a small space. The only issue was that there wasn’t a fridge. I wish I could dedicate a whole paragraph about the cleanliness of the hotel. Rooms, reception, bathrooms, restaurant were all very clean all the time. Linen was fresh and towels in excellent condition. Breakfast was absolutely lovely. The buffet was small but generous with a fresh selection of hot and cold choices- I’d give it five stars. Best of all, location was 3 minutes away from bus and metro stations and right in the middle of everything Amsterdam has to offer. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We asked and paid for a triple room. The picture you provided us isn’t close to what we got. We are still here. No maid service ever. I got stuck in the elevator today. Lights went out and I used my phone light to find the alarm button, and look for a way out. When I finally got out the two girls said @do you want water” It’s our 6th night and I again had to ask for new towels since no one cleaned our room. It’s 9:18 pm. I think you’re not coming to clean my room tonight.

Our hotel offers daily cleaning, and it's concerning to hear that this was not provided in your case. We have addressed this matter with our housekeeping team to ensure it doesn't happen again. We're also sorry to hear about your experience with the elevator. We understand how distressing that must have been, it seems that due to a bug the lights went out while you were inside, we can advise that this was fixed immediately. Regarding the room size, we acknowledge that our rooms are compact, but we strive to provide all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including Sweet Beds, a desk, and flat-screen TV. Stayed at the hotel twice. They serve a good breakfast. Very helpful staff members. Reasonable price. Join the Accor Loyalty Program and get 10% discount. Cheaper, than at Booking. Although the hotel is not located in the city center, but it is a short walk (3-4 minutes) from Metro Station (Isolatorweg M50/M51) and Bus 22 station (right on the opposite side of the hotel). You can get to the city center in about 30 minutes. I recommend the hotel for everyone who travels to Amsterdam!
