flabbergasted by this place and doubt i will ever return. First, just as i arrived all the elevators went out of commission and assigned a room on the 7th floor. No proper update provided on when they would be fixed and went from in the next hour to later that night to now it’s next week! LOL. Happy to get some more daily steps in but the apathy from the staff is frustrating. No effort made to accommodate guests in any way. And really? a supposed 4 star hotel in the center of vienna with 9 floors can’t have a working elevator for more than a week? Looks like they also had a cable and phone outage (or may be i am the only one that flagged, i don’t know) and when i mentioned to the front desk twice, they didn’t know why or do anything about it 🤷‍♂️ But front desk agent offered free breakfast for the last three days of my stay when i mentioned things were still not working the following day. The phone still doesn’t work and also no instructions anywhere on how to reach the front desk or any other part of the hotel. Next, quite the underwhelming breakfast. fairly small selection which is fine but stale croissants and rolls are certianly a let down when visiting Austria :( Lastly, is it normal for a 4 star international hotel chain in Vienna to have just BBC news as the only english speaking TV channel available but 8 Arabic channels across news, sports, entertainment?

Location couldn’t be better. It was near the metro station on the red line, with an amazing connection to all important sites in the centre and beyond. Rooms were very comfortable and clean when we first walked in, but during our 5 days stay the in between cleaning was not the best.

Excellent place to stay with family in Vienna. U1 just a stroll away, spacious suites with an elegant kitchenette which is a big plus when travelling with family. Very courteous and polite staff, impeccable housekeeping, quiet neighbourhood, spar and Billa right across, and much more. I have booked for six nights and this is my third day at this property. Would surely stay here for my next visit and strongly recommend to all family travellers.

AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS: A Dantean Inferno Disguised as Hospitality If you're looking for a relaxing getaway, look elsewhere. This hotel is a nightmare disguised as a hospitality establishment. My stay was a masterclass in misery, thanks to a broken air conditioner and a front desk staff with the warmth of a glacier. Room of Fire: The advertised "climate-controlled comfort" was a cruel joke. The in-room thermostat was a decorative relic, with no effect on the temperature. I spent the night sweating like a gladiator in a sauna, tossing between thin sheets and a lumpy pillow. Complaining to the front desk was like talking to a brick wall. Their response was to open the window which was so unsafe. A Final Word: Unless you enjoy resembling a shriveled prune or relish being treated with the respect of a houseplant, avoid this hotel like the plague. There are better places to spend your hard-earned money (and sweat it all out). Rating: 0 out of 5 stars. Would rather sleep in a cardboard box. P.S. If you're the manager reading this, a word of advice: Train your staff and fix your air conditioners. Discomfort and apathy are a terrible combination for a hotel.

Regarding the climate control in your suite, we regret to hear that the air conditioning did not function due to reasons beyond our influence. While our team is trained to perform well in various fields, I am afraid that being a HVAC engineer is none of them. Unfortunately a technical breakdown can occur even all possible preventive maintenances and regular checks on the system are done and well documented. In such exceptional cases we do depend on the help of external experts in charge of the system. I am sure you do understand that they are doing their utmost to address the situation asap - yet an immediate fix is not always possible. If you could share a bit more details about your concerns about the safety of our windows which can be tilted instead of fully opened, I would be deeply grateful. We take all feedback seriously and continuously strive to improve our services. We value your comments as they assist us in our ongoing efforts to enhance our guest's experience. Our dedicated team is always on hand to assist our guests and ensure their comfort, and we apologize if we fell short of demonstrating this during your visit. I started going there since last year and I go there 2 times per year. The hotel is alright, nothing too special. Last year I stayed in a smaller room but this year I stayed in a bigger room. In the bigger room there were 2 beds, 1 toilet and 1 bathroom. There was a bathtub and a shower. There was also a big mirror in the bathroom. The bathroom had some unusual doors but it was alright. There was a mini vault in the room as well. We had a big table with 4 chairs. We had 8 outlets which was very good because we had 2 laptops, 3 iPads and 4 phones. The area was very nice, you could get fast to the metro station. The breakfast was very good though it could had more stuff and more desserts since it only had one. It had some good juices but my favourite one was the Sour Cherry one. They were prepared and ready for anything. You had a phone in the room and you could get to the bathroom easily at night. I loved it and whenever I go in Vienna this is the first hotel I think of going. It has some good prices as well.
