A very nice, affordable and friendly hotel. Good service. Our rooms are always clean. Breakfast were good, different choices to eat and fresh. We met Betsy, she's a good and loving person. She helped my son especially in doing pancakes! It's fun staying in Novotel Geneva Centre!

This was our last leg on a 2 week Europe trip so we’ve already stayed at quite a few hotels for comparison. The Novotel in Geneva provided a decent stay, however just some criticism from a couple of tourists visiting Geneva. We stayed in April 2024 and we were not impressed with the service provided by the front reception desk. We found the receptionists not very welcoming and cold. Knowing that we are tourists from out of the country they didn’t seem to provide us with much guidance within Geneva and we completely missed part of the city due to this. Just a heads up there’s an additional city tax charge that is charged separately from the cost of the room. The washrooms are not well maintained and designed poorly, particularly for elder people. The tubs are not designed for the high water pressure and as a result, the bathroom floors get drenched. All the outlets in the bedroom are not in working condition and are not compatible with standard plug converters for Europe. Coffee wasn’t replaced daily as courtesy and although a complimentary bottle of water was provided, we were not notified upon check-in. However, the breakfast selection was great, the quality of the food was good and the host at the breakfast was always very friendly and smiley. This may be a hotel catered to professionals and not tourists. While overall the stay was good, with improving these little attention to details it could’ve been 5/5.

We recognize the importance of providing our guests with all necessary information, including any additional city tax charges, and we will review our check-in procedures to ensure this information is consistently communicated. Rooms are ok and location is fine too. The room I got, 625 has no view but also is very quiet as it is the back of the hotel. Breakfast is ok but there should be soy milk available with no need to ask everyday for it. One of the coffee machines was broken a couple of days or may have not been broken, just not maintained by the breakfast staff. One item to improve is the nasty smell of the pipes in the bathroom. This is something that happens for lack of maintenance.

This was a pleasant hotel to stay in, with comfortable rooms and helpful staff. One minus point was the queue for check in: I was waiting quite a while before they got to me, but I can't think of anything else wrong with the hotel. If you're arriving by train it's only a few minutes' walk from the station. There was a reasonable breakfast buffet. I've had more extensive hotel breakfasts, but they have all the basics covered. This hotel seems to be in a part of town with a large middle eastern population, so they had some things you might not expect for breakfast from that part of the world, such as flatbreads and hummous, which made a nice change.
