We stayed here for two nights. When we arrived at 1 PM the room was not ready and after after the official check in time of 2 PM we still had to wait for 15 minutes. Just the standard excuse : "the hotel is full and although a room is ready but we want to give you a nicer room". The restaurants have very little choice for vegetarians, for dinner. Breakfast was sumptuous with plenty of vegetarian items. Rooms are well furnished and clean. The house keeping staff coming around in the evening offering towels, bottled water etc is much appreciated. The hotel's location is a big plus. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance , once you learn how to negotiate the Saigon traffic. I would definitely stay again.

Nice hotel in the city centre with walking distance to top attractions. Receptionist and especially Manager Jerry help me a lot during my stay. There’s a restaurant named ST25 that is a must trying, well known as a sophisticated international of traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

I stayed here a few times prior to Covid and was always impressed by the hotel and services and on returning to Ho Chi Minh, the Sofitel was my first choice. We arrived at the hotel late in the evening after a very long and tiring day and was surprised that check in was not undertaken in the executive lounge as I had booked a club room. I asked the receptionist to confirm the type of room and she stated that my room did not include lounge access. I insisted it did, but she was adamant it didn't and she asked for the booking confirmation. At this point I had to unpack my ipad, log on to the hotels wi-fi to find my confirmation email confirming my club room booking. Half an hour of my life was wasted unnecessarily due to either an incompetent member of staff or an inefficient booking system. It shouldn't be that way. A manager eventually sorted the situation out and we eventually got to our room. The room was fine and there were no issues with the accommodation at all. The location of the hotel is very good and we walked to most of the tourist areas in the city. Saigon Zoo is located at the bottom of the street which is very inexpensive to enter, however, the condition of the animals and their enclosures leave a lot to be desired. The Club Millesime lounge was very good and I was impressed with the 'A La Carte' dining option during the evening. The food was very good, however, the menu was the same for the period we were there. Consideration should also be given to make soft drinks readily available in a fridge during the day as at times, waiting for a served drink could be protracted. We had breakfast in the large ST25 restaurant and the choice of food available was very good. Checking in debacle aside, we had a very good stay here and the hotel is a very good choice in Ho Chi Minh.

Lovely stay at the hotel, it’s a little bit used but it works. Great atmosphere and kindly staff. Kiet & Huong took such good care of us at the pool bar and made our stay really good. And all the recommendations from the reception (massage, places to eat and so much more) were amazing. Cảm ơn rất nhiều.
