Very convenient location, can walk almost anywhere if you like walking. Easy to reach the hotel from the airport. We took bus number 100E which stops right in front of the hotel, 35 min ride. The staff was very welcoming,friendly and nice .The room we stayed in was a bit small, we booked superior room. The carpet is worn out and the aircondition couldn't be adjusted. It was really hot in the room. We only stayed for city brake so the place was perfect.

My mum and I were extremely happy and satisfied with our stay at the Mercure Budapest Korona Hotel. We were in Budapest for my mum's dental treatment and chose this hotel because of its location - it is located right next to a metro station (Kàlvin Ter) and quite central. The staff was amazing, very kind, helpful and competent - this counts for both the hotel staff and the staff from the hotel's restaurant 'The Whinestone'. Whatever we needed - whether it was extra pillows for my mum or a suitable post-dental-surgery meal (my mum was only allowed soups for the first few days post-treatment) that they wholeheartedly delivered to us via room service - the staff made it happen and always checked in on us and my mum's recovery process. A very special thanks to Judit, who took it upon herself to suggest and prepare vegan smoothies for my mum, so that she could switch up her breakfast a little and not be limited to a glass of water to start the day. She was very caring. We are extremely grateful for her very attentive and kind team, who greeted us and our every need with such compassion and kindness. Stayed at the hotel 2 nights in March. Business trip. Lovely place to stay at. Clean, good breakfast with varied choices on food and drinks, plenty of spaces. Great location. Very hot room with no possibility to turn temperature down! Would definitely use again.

The location of the hotel is great. Staff are not friendly or helpful and despite being a silver member, was not even offered a welcome drink. I checked in to my room and found the shampoo bottle empty. After they cleaned my room, shampoo bottle was still empty, no toilet rolls were replaced and no rosters were replaced. There was a finished toilet roll on the floor and that wasn’t even picked up. So I genuinely wonder about the cleanliness. I’ve been staying in this hotel for over two years now and the breakfast has not changed at all. Coffee is dreadful. Would be nice to see a change of attitude with the staff and an increase of cleanliness.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Mercure Budapest Korona. The family suite was spacious and cozy, and we enjoyed in particular the excellent breakfast at the bridge overlooking the streets of the city. The site was great at close proximity to the city center with many key attractions at walking distance. Moreover, if you wanted to go further, the hotel was very conveniently located right next to the metro station. Lastly, as an ALL Platinum member we enjoyed our complimentary snacks and drinks at the hotel's lobby bar in the evenings. I'd definitely go back!
