The staff were lovely and friendly. The room is basic but clean and very spacious for a couple. The location was perfect and walkable to all the main tourist attractions. It was also only a 45 min over the bridge to Buda. There’s a metro station right outside the hotel and the bus stop got the airport is about a 15 min walk away. This was a perfect choice of hotel for our city break and we would return.

Excellent friendly welcome on arrival staff were absolutely fantastic food was ok our room 306 was lovely and clean bed was nice and comfortable no noise at night couldn’t fault this hotel for anything the two guys we met on reception marcella can’t remember the other ones name were very knowledgeable about the area and they both gave sound advice we loved it here and would definitely recommend and stop here again if and when we return to Budapest as it’s situated centrally so easy to get to most places

駅から近く、室内も綺麗で大変気持ちよく過ごせました。値段も割安だったので助かりました。 満足していますが、深夜にコーヒーが飲みたくなり電気ケトルがあれば、とても良かったです。

Should have realised when I booked that it may not quite meet our expectations !!...However a few days stay and it was fine for transport and restaurants etc. Staff pleasant and everything clean. Breakfast was OK, nothing special and our room was functional. The bed was cheap and the pillows far too soft, so sleep quality was not great...Such a shame. I think the best thing to say is the place lacks comfort, its all very functional. Need to choose better on our next trip.

This was my first stay in the Ibis Budapest City Hotel and I must say our stay was superb. Booked in immediately after our two and a half hour flight and forty minute transport on bus and metro ,we were allocated room 308 on the third floor , a twin room ,room was spotlessly clean ,flat screen tv and lots of storage space . We had breakfast included which was superb ,good choice of hot and cold offerings ,loved the cakes here ,tea ,coffee and chocolate was delicious and nice cold drinks ,hotel bar was cool ,enjoyed wines and beers here and location could not be better ,lots of pubs,bars,cafés and restaurants close by ,easy transport links ,metro,tram and busses which whisked you to all area's of the city ,I have to mention the staff ,made our stay here so pleasant ,from reception staff ,kitchen staff and the staff who cleaned our room so well each morning ,really good bunch in here ,we loved our six nights in here ,I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when I'm next in Budapest ,a city I love to visit.
