Booked this Mercure hotel exclusively due to its sauna, in spite of several other, better priced Mercure hotels in Frankfurt. Phoned to have the sauna confirmed the day before. In spite of this, saune “out of order” on arrival. Room was extremely hot, even though radiators were off/cold. Aircon delivered no cooling. Had to” sleep” without bed linen and with open window on New Years eve with surrounding fire work all night. NOT a pleasant sleep experience. Expensive underground parking, where the pay machine did not accept any of my 3 credit cards - reception could not accept payment for parking. Had to go and cash money to get out. Otherwise, it was a nice room and the breakfast was excellent.

Visited for 4 nights to do the Christmas Markets and some local day trips. The hotel is located some distance away from the centre but very easily commutable by either the tram (#17 - stop Voltastrasse) which is a 2min walk to the hotel or the train (Frankfurt West) which is a 5-10min walk depending on route. The rooms are excellent. Very comfortable beds, good pillows, good bathroom with power shower, in room refrigerator and safe. The room was quite warm even with the heating switched off but there was excellent ventilation - the window opened fully, and there was a door leading to a small balcony that could be opened. Housekeeping were also very good. Breakfast was adequate - hot items were some very dodgy scrambled egg, ok sausages, bacon and baked beans. There was also the worst saute potatoes i have ever ever had and struggle to understand how they could make such bad potatoes. I tried these on 2 separate mornings and on both times they tasted old and stale. Breakfast selection also included a selection of cheese, cold meats, smoked salmon, fruit, yoghurt, breads, juices, teas and a coffee machine. The hotel has a gym and sauna which we didn't try, a bar that seemed empty all the time, and a restaurant that seemed permanently closed - as there are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity we went to the restaurant on the first night only to be told it was closed for a private party, This was pretty poor for a 4 star hotel. There is a Rewe supermarket approx 2-3min walk from the hotel which is great for stocking up on snacks and drinks. Overall happy with the hotel given the price we paid and ease with which we could commute into the centre once we'd figured out the trams.

チェックアウトし、ホテルから空港までの帰宅の際に、タクシー内に置き忘れてしまいました財布をホテルにて預かっていただきました。郵送にて送り届けてもらえるようお願いしましたところ、DHLのラベルを発行すれば梱包をして発送いただけるとのことで、対応のよさに非常に感動いたしました。海外で宿泊する際はぜひまたこちらのホテルを利用させていただきたく思います。 本日、発行しました郵送ラベルをAssistant Front Desk Manager様宛にメールにてお送りいたしましたので、財布が無事私の元に届くことを祈っております。

A real mixed bag, comfy rooms, good value but seriously let down by customer service would not return for this reason. Front desk where very frosty to us, no idea why we tried to be super kind in the hope it might be returned. + Rooms are nice and comfortable and quiet. + Fantastic location for public transport. + Good breakfast buffet. - TV Broken reported this was never fixed. -Majorly rude for no apparent reason was told off for how British Airways booked the room (it was a holiday package) nothing we could control, after insistiing on it and having a huff was told then not to worry about it, was tired and it was late so could have - Our keycard was de-activated every day and it was a fuss to get it reenabled - On more than one ocasion house keeping came in while we where sleeping even though card was on door

立地条件:トラム(No.17)停留所に近くて、Sバーン:フランクフルト西駅からも近いので空港からのアクセスが良い。アリーチェックインができるので、午前中に空港に着いた時に便利。

静香な環境のため、昼の間、部屋で仕事をするのによかった。 冷蔵庫が故障していることを伝えたら、すぐ対応されたのでよかった(新品に交換)。 ネスプレッソのコーヒーマシンは良かった。しかし、湯沸かしのポットも備えて欲しかった。
