Fantastic overnight stay in a Novotel Suite. The room was lovely - very comfortable and spacious. It was very quiet overnight too. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of different options. Great location and just a short walk into the centre. Car parking at an additional cost. A great stay!

Went to the hotel restaurant for a family meal tonight 04/05/2024 and have got to it was absolutely delicious, the staff were very helpful and polite nothing was to much trouble will definitely be back, my sister and I had the butter chicken my wife had the pizza and my brother in law had the mixed grill which was cooked to perfection for his licking 😋😋😋😋

Nice clean hotel with good food. Check in very poor/slow

I appreciate they had moved to a new system. But I turned up with a toddler and dog to a massive queue at reception, during which we then had to evacuate due to a fire alarm. Check in therefore at least 40 mins eating into valuable time on our stay. Then they had to re-take all my details during check in which I had already provided - only to be told to pay for parking and dog staying (would have been a nice gesture to offer one complimentary…) Other than that room was nice, clean and food from restaurant was of good standard.

Good location, covers all basic needs.

Friendly welcome. The family room was a good size. Great location; short walk into city centre. Quiet. Cleanness of bedding and towels not as desired. Extra for carpark and breakfast. Both well worth it. Check out is 12 noon. Carpark is until midnight of your last day.

Quite a pleasant hotel, nice bar/reception area, nice outdoor seating overlooking the river. I have 2 complaints though, one is having toilet separate from the bathroom so no hand washing facility until you reach the bathroom (or wait 15 minutes while your partner finishes showering) and a very expensive breakfast (I think we paid £18 extra each for the breakfast) which arrived from the kitchen almost cold - it was a very quiet morning so they hadn’t put out the buffet. My partner and I left most of it, there’s not much attraction to a cold fry-up.
