I was I sofitel for five days with my family. we enjoyed the time but everything was ruined after last evening meal at members lounge! after this meal I've spend last night having diarrhea and have been vomiting. it's fifth day and I am still sick so it wasn't just regular stomach flu. there was something wrong with food for sure! I am very disappointed because I trusted the sofitel brand and was eating at hotel without a fear about food being such a bad quality, having toxins inside!

Really impressed, it had been recommended by several friends over the last few years. The pool is an absolute blast and the staff are all professional and willing to go the extra mile / Even the lifeguards and pool guys were super friendly! I had a first floor room / beautiful design and layout that backed onto the pool… Will definitely return.

When I came to Sofitel in Sheshan, the most intuitive feeling was that the environment was superior. Although the room was a little old, it didn't affect my check-in experience. It was a wonderful trip.

I have been coming to Sofitel Shenshan for the past 3 years. Always enjoyed the Sunday brunch, swimming pool and Sandy beach.... Before. This year it turned into a pretty unpleasant experience. Not worth the money anymore. The restaurant offers a very poor service far from the expected standards. Both in terms of food quality and service. It is more similar to a cantine. The beach is badly kept, run down, not so clean and overcrowded, with people shouting, ordering delivery fast food and leaving trash everywhere. There is an incredible amount of babies. Nothing against babies of course, I do love kids. But I just want to point this out for those who plan to go there for a relaxing swimming pool weekend. There is absolutely nothing relaxing anymore. It feels more as a huge kindergarten. It can be cute or fun to some extent. But NOT relaxing. I had to give up my staying and leave in the middle of the day out of a huge headache.

Hotel veramente bello, molto pulito e camere assolutamente silenziose. Fuori dal centro città ma comodo per trovarsi subito su strade principali. Il,verde e le piscine ben curati . Ristorante buffet buono e lo stesso locale viene utilizzato per le colazioni. Personale nello standard Cinese molto gentili ma l'inglese non è il loro forte .....
