The best Ibis Styles I've ever been. Very good organized, stuff very kind and helpful, very good breakfast. The room was spatious enough. Practical bathroom. Very pleasant patio. Everything is very clean. The car parking very well orhanized. This is one of few Ibis Styles hotels I suggest to get special CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Very disappointed after spending a fabulous night in Novotel Nantes centre bord de loire for 122 euros I expected the suite here for 165 to be excellent. 2 adjacent rooms, good if you have kids. But noisy as on main street and railway station. No sleep from 5 am. Rooms small and nothing special. Lobby small. Breakfast good. Redeeming feature. Staff pleasant. I found not a single negative review about this place. Very suspicious. Extremely overpriced. Old building refurbished but superficial. I would not advise staying here if you want value for money.

Madame Stuart, Tout d’abord nous vous remercions d’avoir pris la peine de laisser un commentaire suite à votre séjour au sein de notre établissement. Suite à celui-ci, nous sommes étonnés car lors de votre départ, vous n’avez rien mentionné à nos équipes concernant le problème que vous avez rencontré. Concernant le bruit dont vous nous faites part, nous tenons à préciser que lors du nettoyage de vos chambres, la gouvernante a constaté que les deux fenêtres avaient été dégondées. Nos fenêtres ont deux ouvertures possibles, soit en oscillo-battant soit en ouverture dite « classique ». Il suffit d’orienter la poignée dans un sens ou dans l’autre pour ouvrir de la façon désirée. Vous avez ouvert les fenêtres en position oscillo-battante puis en ouverture classique certainement de façon un peu trop rapide, ce qui les a dégondées. Il était, par conséquent, impossible de les refermer correctement. Nous comprenons donc parfaitement que suite à cette mauvaise manipulation, vous ayez subi des nuisances sonores et un sommeil perturbé. Si vous aviez prévenu la réception en constatant que vous n’arriviez pas à refermer les fenêtres correctement, nous serions intervenus immédiatement et votre nuit aurait été reposante grâce au triple vitrage, sans nuisances sonores venant de l’extérieur. Vous avez choisi de séjourner dans l’une de nos suites familiales. Celles-ci se composent de deux chambres qui communiquent entre elles, chacune équipée de sa propre salle de bain, son propre téléviseur et de son propre toilette, permettant à nos clients de séjourner en famille tout en conservant une intimité. Ceci est très apprécié par notre clientèle comme vous avez pu le constater par le nombre de commentaires valorisant notre établissement. Ces deux chambres réunies, la suite familiale fait la taille de 39m² (18m² par chambre). Les chambres familiales de chez Novotel comme celle que vous avez occupée ont pour taille maximum 24m² et son équipées d’un lit double et d’un canapé-lit pour les enfants. 165€ pour deux chambres communicantes petit déjeuner inclus, soit 67.50 € par chambre est par conséquent un meilleur rapport qualité prix. Vous avez réservé via la plateforme « Expedia ». En réservant directement via notre site internet ou directement avec le service réception de l’hôtel, vous auriez économisé 14,30 € sur l’ensemble de votre réservation. Nous restons à votre disposition pour tout échange et complément d’information.

We have regularly been staying at this wonderful hotel for many years and have never been disappointed. The Management and staff are unfailingly helpful and friendly and the hotel is always spotlessly clean throughout. The rooms are large and extremely comfortable and the beds are some of the largest we have experienced in Ibis hotels. The breakfast again is by far the best we have eaten in similar hotels with a varied choice in a colourful, spacious and modern dining room. There is a small and welcoming bar in reception and a spacious and extremely accessible but secure car park to the rear with electric charging points. The location is good too and within easy walking distance across the river to the centre of Saumur. As a result of staying in this excellent hotel we now use Ibis Styles on our travels throughout France. But this one in Saumur remains are favourite! We would encourage you to try it…you won’t be disappointed!

We have just finished an excellent five-night stay at this hotel which is obviously very well located for those arriving in Saumur by rail - it is immediately opposite the station entrance. Rooms are comfortable, quiet and attractively decorated - we were pleased to have a king-sized bed for a standard double booking. There is a extremely well-stocked and attractive bar area with interesting quality brands of spirits producers and some champagne if desired. Front desk staff were always helpful and friendly and English wasn't a problem if our French vocabulary ran short. An excellent continental breakfast is as always with IBIS Styles included in the room rate and staff kept the dining area both clean and stocked with eggs for boiling, cold meats and cheeses, tomato and cucumber salad, a fresh-squeezed orange 'machine' and juices, of course coffee/tea and fruit, yoghurt and breads, croissants, pain au chocolat & madeleines. Good eating restaurants started right next door and extended through the Ile D'Offard (there is also a market there on Thursdays and a handy well-maintained laundrette) to the main town of Saumur.

This is a very good Ibis styles hotel,the location to get into town is good (walkable) parking is plenty full and free unless you precooked the hotel parking when they charge 9 euro. Breakfast is good and well stocked and pleasant, however they do not serve any food in the evening.
